“Peter
2:4
For if Elohim did not spare the messengers who sinned, but sent them to Tartaros, and
delivered them into chains of darkness, to be kept for judgment,
Jude 6
And the messengers who did not keep their own principality, but left their own
dwelling, He has kept in everlasting shackles under darkness for the judgment of the great day.
To infer Satan and his messengers are not still at liberty is a grave error to make, those messengers described
are as having left their “first estate and being reserved in everlasting chains under Darkness, are not Satan s messengers.
They are a Special class of Messengers who, s Sin caused the Flood. They are the Messengers in Prison of whom Peter says
Because even Messiah once suffered for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you
To Elohim, having been put to death indeed in flesh but made alive in the Spirit, in which
Also He went and proclaimed unto the spirits in prison, who were
Disobedient at one time when the patience of Elohim waited in the days of Noaḥ, while the
Ark
was being prepared, in which a few, that is, eight beings, were saved through water,
And the messengers who did not keep their own principality, but left their own dwelling, He has kept in everlasting
shackles under darkness for the judgment of the great day.
Even as Seḏom and Amorah and the cities around them in a similar way
to these, having given themselves over to whoring and gone after strange flesh, are set forth as an example, undergoing judicial
punishment of everlasting fire. When the two messengers came to sedom, they were surrounded in the house of lot by men both
young and old they said
“Stand back!” And they said, “This one came in to sojourn, and should he always
judge? Now we are going to treat you worse than them.” For if Elohim did not spare the messengers who sinned, but sent
them to Tartaros, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be kept for judgment, and did not spare the world of
old, but preserved Noaḥ, a proclaimer of righteousness, and seven others, bringing in the flood on the world
of the wicked,
Who
were these messengers?
Not Satan’s messengers, for his messengers are free, and like to roam about. These
messengers are in Prison, in darkness, reserved in chains for judgment. They are in a place of confinement called Tartars,
(The place referred to is not the grave, but the region beyond, the abode of departed spirits, the Hades of the ancients;
and the idea here is, that it is a place where not a clear ray of light ever shines.) because they did not keep
their own first principality, but left their dwelling
Why
To go whoring and after strange flesh, and this was before the flood. So their sin was fornication,
fornication of an abnormal nature, it says the sexual intercourse of these angelic beings with strange flesh, beings of a
different nature. When was this sin committed? In the days of Noah, and that it was the cause of the flood
And it came to be, when men began to increase on the face of the earth, and daughters were
Took wives for themselves of all whom they chose. And יהוה said, “My Spirit shall not strive with
man forever in his going astray. He is flesh, and his days shall be one hundred and twenty years.”
The Nephilim
(nephilim (in
Hebrew הנּפלים means the fallen [ones])
are a people created by the crossbreeding of the "sons of God" (beney ha'elohim, בני האלהים)
and the "daughters of men". (See Genesis 6:1.) The word nephilim is loosely translated
as giants or titans in some translations of the Bible, and is left as nephilim in others.
Were on the earth in those days, and also afterward,
When the sons of Elohim came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them.
Those were the mighty men who were of old, the men of name. Who were these Sons of Elohim?
And the daughters of men signifies the whole adamic race, Adam was made in Elohims image
And יהוה
Elohim formed the man out of dust from the ground, and breathed into his nostrils breath of life. And the man became a living
being. So יהוה
Elohim caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept. And He took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
And the rib which יהוה Elohim had taken from the man He made into a woman, and He brought her to the man. And the man said, “This
is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. This one is called ‘woman,’ because she was taken out
Of man.”
In Genesis four separate names appear
1 Bne-ha-Elohim
2 Bnoth- ha -Adam
3 Hans -Nephilm
4 Hog- Gibborim
1 being Sons of Elohim
Has not the same meaning in the OT
Has it has in the NT
In the NT it applies to those who have
Become the sons of Elohim by the new birth
But as many as received Him, to them He gave the authority to become children of Elohim, to those believing
in His Name, For as many as are led by the Spirit of Elohim, these are sons of Elohim. For you did not receive the spirit
of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” The
Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of Elohim, And because you are sons, Elohim has sent forth
the Spirit of His Son into your hearts, crying, “Abba, Father!” See what love the Father has given us, that
we should be called children of Elohim! For this reason the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. Beloved
ones, now we are children of Elohim. And it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed,
we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is.
In the OT it applies exclusively to the messengers and is so used five times.
Twice in Genesis 6:2 that the sons of Elohim saw the daughters of men, that they were good. And they took wives for themselves
of all whom they chose. And יהוה said, “My Spirit shall not strive with man forever in his going astray. He is flesh, and his days shall
be one hundred and twenty years.” The Nephilim were on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons
of Elohim came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, the men
of name. Three times in Job, where Satan an angelic being is classed with the sons Of Elohim And the day came
to be that the sons of Elohim came to present themselves before יהוה, and Satan also came among them. Again the day came to be that the sons
of Elohim came to present themselves before יהוה, and Satan also came among them to present himself before יהוה. When the morning stars sang together,
and all the sons of Elohim shouted for joy? A son Of Elohim denotes a being brought into existence by a creative act of Yahweh.
Such were messengers, and such was Adam and he is called so of Enosh, of Shĕth, of Aḏam, of Elohim. Adam
was created in the likeness of elohim this is the book of the genealogy of Adam. In the day that Elohim created
man, He made him in the likeness of Elohim. but his descendants were born in the his likeness And Adam lived
one hundred and thirty years, and brought forth a son in his own likeness, after his image, and called his name Shĕth.therefore
all men born of Adam and his offspring are the sons of men. And it is only by beinging born again (NT) יהושע answered and said to him, “Truly, truly,
I say to you, unless one is born from above, he is unable to see1 the reign of Elohim.” Naḵdimon
said to Him, “How is a man able to be born when he is old? Is he able to enter into his mother’s womb a second
time and be born?” יהושע answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he is unable to enter
into the reign of Elohim. “That which has been born of the flesh is flesh, and that which has been born of the
Spirit is spirit. “Do not marvel that I said to you, ‘You have to be born from above.’ Which
is a new creation that they become the Sons of God In For in the resurrection they do not marry, nor are they given in marriage,
but are as messengers of Elohim in heaven. “For when they rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage,
but are as messengers in the heavens. but those who are counted worthy of attaining that age, and the resurrection from
the dead, neither marry, nor are they given in marriage, for neither is it possible for them to die any more, because they
are like messengers and are sons of Elohim, being sons of the resurrection.
This might raise an objection of this messenger interpretation that they do not
marry, but it does not therefore follow that they are sexless; it says they do not marry in the resurrection. nor does it
say they do not have the power of procreation, but that it is not the nature for holy messengers to seek a relationship.,
having the power, even when fallen messengers.
What these passages teach is that messengers do not multiply by procreation Messengers
as far as we know were created en masse, that they are immortal, never die so their is no necessity for marriage among them,
Marriage is a human instituting to prevent the extinction of the race through death, if the bodies of the dead are to be raised
in the resurrection as the scriptures clearly teach the inference is that the bodies we be male and female. and after
the bodies of the righteous dead after they have been resurrected and glorified are immortal, and shall never die again their
will be no necessity for the righteous in his kingdom to marry.
Another fact worthy of mention is the messengers are always spoken of as of the masculine
gender bne-ha-elohim, (sons) but never bnoth-ha-elohim (daughters) so the sons of elohim went into the daughters of men, these
were fallen messengers |
