Guilty of Unrighteous Prayer

Are your prayers being heard by Yahuah, are you sure, or are you guilty of a sin you have not even thought about, through study and pray we begin to see our blemishes, this is what could be called the Dark of Prayer

Now stop and think for a moment

About your

PRAYER TIME

(Isaiah 1:15-16).

“And when you spread out your hands, I hide My eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I do not hear. Your hands have become filled with blood. “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.

Nehemiah  prayed

please let Your ear be attentive and Your eyes open, to hear the prayer of Your servant which I am praying before You now, day and night, for the children of Yisra’ĕl Your servants, and confess the sins of the children of Yisra’ĕl which we have sinned against You. Both my father’s house and I have sinned. O יהוה, I pray, please let Your ear be attentive to the prayer of Your servant, and to the prayer of Your servants who delight to fear Your Name. And let Your servant prosper this day, I pray, and grant him compassion in the presence of this man.” For I was cupbearer to the sovereign.

It’s a long time since I last prayed in such a humble way, prayers became like all things in life , an automatic switch on and off button . So I am guilty

Therefore Your servant has taken heart to pray this prayer to You. Yet, shall You turn to the prayer of Your servant and his supplication, O יהוה my Elohim, and listen to the cry and the prayer which Your servant is praying before You today?

the time you and Yahuah’shua are talking, like the time of Moses on mount Sinai, it’s a Sacred time, a time of being in his presence, where each thought, and word, each tear and smile, are being recorded has we knee before him, and begin our prayer, in praise, love and obedience  servant attitude, a time when time has no meaning..with a prayer the universe stops still

Prayer is a powerful tool in our relationship with our father

יהוה has heard my pleading; יהוה receives my prayer.

For Your eyes to be open toward this House night and day, toward the place of which You said, ‘My Name is there,’ to listen to the prayer which Your servant makes toward this place.

 (Psalm17:1 and 109:7).

" Hear righteousness, יהוה, Listen to my cry; Give ear to my prayer, From lips without deceit. When he is judged, let him be found wrong, And let his

prayer become sin.

How can prayer become a sin

Yahuah warned His people Israel,

(Isaiah 1:15-16).

“And when you spread out your hands, I hide My eyes from you; even though you make many prayers, I do not hear. Your hands have become filled with blood. “Wash yourselves, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before My eyes.

Stop doing evil!

Yahuah could not have made it any clearer; the need is not for more prayer - but for Sacred prayer! What a frightful prophecy this is - Yahuah's people spreading out their hands in prayer and supplication in great and multiplying numbers, and Yahuah is not listening! It is because we have been told that no one can ascend the Sacred hill of Yahuah except those with clean hands and pure hearts. These supplicating multitudes had unclean hands and evil hearts. Yahuah said,

(Isaiah 1:13-14).

Stop bringing futile offerings, incense,(prayers) it is an abomination to Me. New Moons, Sabbaths, the calling of meetings I am unable to bear unrighteousness and assembly.  “My being hates your New Moons and your appointed times, they are a trouble to Me,

I am weary of bearing them.

(Proverbs 28:9).

Unrighteousness !!!!!

He who turns away his ear from hearing the Torah, Even his prayer is an abomination.

יהוה is far from the wrong ones,

But He hears the prayer of the righteous

Look, the hand of יהוה has not become too short to save, nor His ear too heavy to hear.

But your crookednesses have separated you from your Elohim.

And your sins have hidden His face from you, from hearing.

but Yisra’ĕl following after the Torah of righteousness,

has not arrived at the Torah of righteousness.

And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we guard His commands and do what is pleasing in His sight Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray for one another, so that you are healed.

The earnest prayer of a righteous one accomplishes much.

" To call adulterous, fornicating, compromising Yahuah’shuaians to prayer is to lead them into a sin against Yahuah that is worse than all the other evils in their lives combined. We had better get to the laver before we approach the golden altar of incense.

Offering prayer to Yahuah through unclean lips and lifting polluted hands can bring down His wrath and perpetuate hideous judgments.

Yahuah's Word likens prayer to incense - an aroma that goes up before Yahuah to the throne. David prayed,

(Psalm141:2).

Let my prayer be prepared before You as incense, The lifting up of my hands as the evening offering.

John removes all doubt about it:

(Revelation 5:8)

And when He took the scroll, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and golden bowls filled with incense,

which are the prayers of the set-apart ones.

I believe this incense includes all the praying, all the praising of Yahuah's people.

The Offering of Corrupt Prayers to a Holy Yahuah is an Unspeakable Horror in the Heavenlies!

Not a single corrupt prayer falls to the ground innocently! Every prayer from unclean lips of a Yahuah’shuaian is gathered in by a Messenger in his censer and one day must face the consuming fire of a holy Yahuah.

There is a scene in Revelation 8 - so awesome, so incredible, I can't comprehend it!

And when He opened the seventh seal, there came to be silence in the heaven for about half an hour. And I saw the seven messengers who stand before Elohim, and to them were given seven trumpets.  And another messenger came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer, and much incense was given to him, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the set-apart ones upon the golden altar which was before the throne. And the smoke of the incense, with the prayers of the set-apart ones, went up before Elohim from the hand of the messenger. And the messenger took the censer, and filled it with fire from the altar, and threw it to the earth. And there were noises, and thunders, and lightnings, and an earthquake.  And the seven messengers who held the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound. And the first messenger sounded, and there came to be hail and fire mixed with blood, and they were thrown to the earth. And a third of the trees were burned up, and all green grass was burned up.

In Revelation 5 John describes the thunderous, exultant voices of the living creatures, the elders, and myriads of Messengers-thousands of thousands of them all singing with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing."

And every creature which is in the heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, I heard saying, “To Him sitting on the throne, and to the Lamb, be the blessing and the respect and the esteem and the might, forever and ever!”  And the four living creatures said, “Amĕn!” And the twenty-four elders fell down and bowed before Him who lives forever and ever.

What a loud, glorious scene as every created thing in heaven lifted voices in concerts of praise.

In Revelation 6, we hear also the loud crying of the martyrs  underneath the altar,

And when He opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the beings of those having been slain for the Word of Elohim and for the witness which they held, and they cried with a loud voice, saying, “How long, O Master, set-apart and true, until You judge and avenge our blood on those who dwell on the earth?”

In Revelation 8 all heaven is hushed! For nearly half an hour the elders kneel in silent wonder. The living creatures, the cherubim, the seraphim, all are hushed and speechless. The martyrs are silent wonder.  Messengeric choirs are not singing; the harps have been put aside; and there is not a sound in heaven. All is hushed! Why? It is because the seventh seal has been broken and they have seen the frightful judgments written on the seventh document. Seven Messengers with seven trumpets stand ready to inflict death, destruction and fiery judgments on the earth.

This indescribable silence has something to do with prayer! It has to do with incense. The time has come for a holy Yahuah to bring to His altar every prayer of His people for righteous judgment. He is going to put His consuming fire under the incense to test the aroma! Will it be a sweet smelling savor - or a stench in His nostrils?

And another messenger came and stood at the altar, holding a golden censer, and much incense was given to him, that he should offer it with the prayers of all the set-apart ones upon the golden altar which was before the throne.

There are two kinds of incense mentioned in Yahuah's Word. one is pure - the other is called strange. Yahuah commanded that only pure incense be offered to Him on the golden altar.

And you shall overlay its top, and its sides all around, and its horns with clean gold. And you shall make for it a moulding of gold all around. “And make two gold rings for it, under the moulding on both its sides. Make them on its two sides, and they shall be holders for the poles to lift it with.  “And you shall make the poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with gold.  “And you shall put it before the veil that is before the ark of the Witness, before the lid of atonement that is over the Witness, where I am to meet with you. “And Aharon shall burn on it sweet incense, morning by morning. As he tends the lamps, he shall burn incense on it. “And when Aharon lights the lamps between the evenings, he shall burn incense on it – a continual incense before יהוה throughout your generations.  “Do not offer strange incense on it, or a burnt offering, or a grain offering, and do not pour a drink offering on it.

You shall offer no strange prayers on my altar! There was a death penalty on all who offered strange incense to Yahuah. In the Old Testament, Yahuah was trying to show us His heart against corrupt praying. He intended to show us how serious this matter of corrupt praying is in His sight. This is clearly seen in the way Yahuah dealt with the two sons of Aaron.

And Naḏaḇ and Aḇihu, the sons of Aharon, each took his fire holder and put fire in it, and put incense on it, and brought strange fire before יהוה, which He had not commanded them. And fire came out from יהוה and consumed them, and they died before יהוה.  Then Mosheh said to Aharon, “This is what יהוה spoke, saying, ‘By those who come near Me let Me be set-apart! And before all the people let Me be esteemed!’ ” And Aharon was silent.

There, before the altar of incense, lay the two sons of Aaron. young priests who dared approach Yahuah to offer incense with polluted hands and hearts. They are dragged out to the front of the sanctuary. Aaron must have wept! How frightful! What kind of Yahuah is this? Praying men killed at the altar.

Moses solemnly brings the Word, "Yahuah says - those who approach Me  must honor My Sacredness! I will not let this be a light thing among my people!" Yahuah help us to see what a Sacred life-and-death matter prayer is.

The word strange, to be an adulterer, to be an alien or outsider. It was what they had become. They had become fornicators, idolaters, rebellious, adulterous of heart. They were priests who had become aliens to Yahuah because of pride and unforsaken sin. It is what you are and what you have become that makes your prayer what it is: Sacred or strange! Unforsaken sin becomes a stronghold for Satan; and it corrupts everything you bring to Yahuah.

What strange incense is pouring out of the lips of many compromising servants of the messiah today. Many are counseling rebellion. Many have lost the fear of Yahuah. They have no vision of the Sacredness of Yahuah. A holy man of Yahuah turns people away from sin; a corrupt minister causes many to stumble.

My covenant with him was life and peace, and I gave them to him, to fear. And he feared Me, and stood in awe of My Name. “The Torah of truth was in his mouth, and unrighteousness was not found on his lips. He walked with Me in peace and straightness, and turned many away from crookedness. And You came down on Mount Sinai, and spoke with them from the heavens, and gave them straight right-rulings and Torah of truth, good laws and commands.

“For the lips of a priest should guard knowledge, and they seek the Torah from his mouth, for he is the messenger of יהוה of hosts.

Yahuah singles out adulterers as those He no longer hears. Their incense is strange; their prayers and tears are an abomination. Yahuah's heart is sick of it all.

And this you have done a second time: you cover the altar of יהוה with tears, with weeping and crying, because He no longer regards the offering, nor receives it with pleasure from your hands. And you said, “Why?” Because יהוה has been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have acted treacherously, though she is your companion and the wife of your covenant.

Yahuah also singles out those who have gotten soft against sin. It has to do with a permissive attitude toward divorce. It has to do with telling worldly-minded Yahuah’shuaians that Yahuah still delights in them. It has to do with ministers who refuse to show Yahuah's people the difference between the holy and the profane.

“For I hate divorce,” said יהוה Elohim of Yisra’ĕl, “and the one who covers his garment with cruelty,” said יהוה of hosts. “So you shall guard your spirit, and do not act treacherously.”

You have wearied יהוה with your words, and you have said, “In what way have we wearied Him?” In that you say, “Everyone who does evil is good in the eyes of יהוה, and He is delighting in them,” or, “Where is the Elohim of right-ruling?”

The prophet Ezekiel was given a vision of the elders of Israel offering incense - even though their minds and imaginations had become totally corrupted by sin. Leaders, ministers, praying-while their hearts were full of idolatry and wickedness,

Then He brought me to the door of the court. And I looked and saw a hole in the wall. And He said to me, “Son of man, please dig into the wall.” And when I dug into the wall I saw a door. And He said to me, “Go in, and see the evil abominations which they are doing there. And your altars shall be ruined, your sun-pillars shall be broken in pieces. And I shall make your slain fall in front of your idols, and lest you lift up your eyes to the heavens, and shall see the sun, and the moon, and the stars – all the host of the heavens – and you be drawn away into bowing down to them and serving them, which יהוה your Elohim has allotted to all the peoples under all the heavens. and has gone and served other mighty ones and bowed down to them, or to the sun or to the moon or to any of the host of the heavens, which I have not commanded, Then the sovereign commanded Ḥilqiyahu the high priest, and the priests of the second order, and the doorkeepers, to bring out of the Hĕḵal of יהוה all the objects that were made for Baʽal, and for Ashĕrah, and for all the host of the heavens. And he burned them outside Yerushalayim in the fields of Qiḏron, and took their ashes to Bĕyth Ěl.And he put down the black-robed priests whom the sovereigns of Yehuḏah had appointed to burn incense on the high places in the cities of Yehuḏah and in the places all around Yerushalayim, and those who burned incense to Baʽal, to the sun, and to the moon, and to the constellations, and to all the host of the heavens.  And he brought out the Ashĕrah from the House of יהוה, to the wadi Qiḏron outside Yerushalayim, and burned it at the wadi Qiḏron and ground it to ashes, and threw its ashes on the graves of the sons of the people. And he broke down the houses of the male cult prostitutes that were in the House of יהוה, where the women wove tapestries for the Ashĕrah.  And he brought all the priests from the cities of Yehuḏah, and defiled the high places where the priests had burned incense, from Geḇa to Be’ĕrsheḇa, and broke down the high places at the gates which were at the entrance of the Gate of Yehoshua the governor of the city, which were to the left of the city gate.  However, the priests of the high places did not come up to the altar of יהוה in Yerushalayim, but they ate unleavened bread among their brothers.  And he defiled Topheth, which is in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom, so that no man could make his son or his daughter pass through the fire to Moleḵ.  And he did away with the horses that the sovereigns of Yehuḏah had given to the sun, at the entrance to the House of יהוה, by the room of Nathan-Meleḵ the eunuch, that were in the court. And he burned the chariots of the sun with fire. And he removed the high places and the sun-pillars from all the cities of Yehuḏah, and the reign rested under him. If I have rejoiced when he who hated me was ruined, or lifted myself up when evil found him –And the houses of Yerushalayim and the houses of the sovereigns of Yehuḏah shall be as unclean as the place of Topheth, because of all the houses on whose roofs they have burned incense to all the host of the heavens, and poured out drink offerings to other mighty ones.” ’ ” “But we shall do whatever has gone out of our own mouth, to burn incense to the sovereigness of the heavens and pour out drink offerings to her, as we have done, we and our fathers, our sovereigns and our heads, in the cities of Yehuḏah and in the streets of Yerushalayim. And we had plenty of food, and were well-off, and saw no evil. “So Elohim turned and gave them up to worship the host of the heaven, as it has been written in the book of the Prophets, ‘Did you bring slaughtered beasts and offerings unto Me during forty years in the wilderness, O house of Yisra’ĕl?  And I went in and looked and saw all kinds of creeping creatures, abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Yisra’ĕl, carved all around on the walls. And facing them stood seventy men of the elders of the house of Yisra’ĕl, and in their midst stood Yaʽazanyahu son of Shaphan. Each one had a censer in his hand, and a thick cloud of incense went up. And He said to me, “Son of man, have you seen what the elders of the house of Yisra’ĕl are doing in the dark, each one in the room of his idols? For they say, ‘יהוה does not see us, יהוה has forsaken the land.’ ”

They thought, "Yahuah is overlooking our sin. As long as we pray, offer incense, Yahuah is appeased." It is not incidental that the Word declares, "Jaazaniah stood among them...." Jaazaniah means "Yahuah hears!" What arrogance sin causes.

They actually believed Yahuah was hearing their prayers, even though laden with sin.

Are you guilty of the same crime

Yahuah indicts His people for corrupting prayer before the idols of  gold, silver and materialism. Through the prophet Ezekiel, Yahuah cries out against burning Sacred incense before the self-centered Yahuahs of this age.

It is a cry against those who use prayer to reach selfish goals - who use prayer to enrich themselves - who pray only to get something out Yahuah.

“And you took your splendid adornments, of My gold and My silver that I gave you, and made for yourself images of a male and whored with them. “And you took your embroidered garments and covered them, and you set My oil and My incense before them. And you sat on a splendid couch, with a table prepared before it, on which you had set My incense and My oil.

Sacred Incense Offered by Sacred Hands Shielded the Priest From Judgment.

and shall take a fire holder filled with burning coals of fire from the altar before יהוה, with his hands filled with sweet incense beaten fine, and shall bring it inside the veil. “And he shall put the incense on the fire before יהוה, and the cloud of incense shall cover the lid of atonement which is on the Witness, lest he die.

The mercy seat represents the very presence of Yahuah’shua. If the priest had pure incense, pure garments, he could come boldly to the throne of grace to obtain mercy. He would not die, but would see the glory of His presence.

We talk so flippantly about Daddy Yahuah; we speak so arrogantly about getting our rights; we even try to manipulate Yahuah through prayer. But Yahuah help those today who have no awe, no reverence for the mercy seat. You say, Yahuah no longer deals with His people so severely. No one dies under grace. Under grace, strange incense leads to "twice dead and plucked up by the roots!"

John once laid his head on the bosom of Yahuah’shua. John saw Him in His humanity but not in His holiness. on the Isle of Patmos he had a vision of Yahuah’shua now glorified, and it was a shattering vision. Yahuah’shua now had eyes like a flame of fire - feet like burnished bronze when caused to glow in a furnace - and His voice was like the sound of many waters.  And John fell at His feet as a dead man. You can't be flippant and giddy when you've had a vision of His holiness. Yahuah has determined to judge, cast down and destroy all the altars and incense offerings of those who refuse to walk in holiness before Him. The curse of the Mosaic covenant included a threat that Yahuah would disown the altars and destroy the incense of the Israelites if they walked in disobedience.

And if in spite of this, you do not obey Me, but walk contrary to Me,  then I shall walk contrary to you in wrath. And I Myself shall punish you seven times for your sins.  ‘And you shall eat the flesh of your sons, and eat the flesh of your daughters. ‘And I shall destroy your high places, and cut down your sun-pillars, and put your carcasses on the carcasses of your idols. And My being shall loathe you.  ‘And I shall turn your cities into ruins and lay your set-apart places waste, and not smell your sweet fragrances.  ‘And I shall lay the land waste, and your enemies who dwell in it shall be astonished at it.

Look again now at that hushed scene before the altar of Yahuah in Revelations 8. I hope you can see what I see! I see two kinds of incense. There is the much incense which was given to the Messenger. To me this represents the tainted prayers of Laodicean Yahuah’shuaians. There is also the incense already burning on the altar - the pure, holy incense of the sanctified. The fire on that altar has never gone out - that pure, holy praying has continually been a sweet savor to the Messiah. The Messenger was told to mix this much incense, this much praying, with the incense already on the altar. But when Yahuah's consuming fire touches it, something happens.

For centuries the smoke of the incense of holy saints has covered the mercy seat. It has been accepted; it has been a shield against judgment. But now look at what happens; the Messenger suddenly flings the censer out of Yahuah's presence - out upon the earth - and terrible judgments break out.

Corrupt prayers do not shield from judgment - they cause judgment!

It is true that Yahuah sends judgment to avenge the prayers of the righteous and the martyrs. But the Word also reveals that stubborn and unrepentant hearts are storing up wrath for the day of judgment.

Or do you despise the riches of His kindness, and tolerance, and patience, not knowing that the kindness of Elohim leads you to repentance? יהוה is not slow in regard to the promise, as some count slowness, but is patient toward us, not wishing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.  But according to your hardness and your unrepentant heart you are treasuring up for yourself wrath in the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of Elohim,

The prayers of the selfishly ambitious are being stored up as so much strange incense; and one day our holy Yahuah will pour it all out on their heads in distress, wrath and indignation.

but wrath and displeasure to those who are self-seeking and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness affliction and distress on every human being working what is evil, of the Yehuḏite first, and also of the Greek;

Think of the frightful effect of corrupt prayers. Not only is Yahuah not hearing these kinds of prayers - not only is He weary of them - not only are they an abomination to Him - they bring Yahuah's woe-woe-woe to those who dwell on the earth. They open the very pits of hell! I hear it said, "If Yahuah’shuaians will all pray - Yahuah will spare this nation form judgment." We forget to add, "...if they repent, confess and forsake their sins!" But Yahuah only hears and answers holy prayers from holy hearts. Let millions of church-goers pray! Let multitudes of lukewarm Yahuah’shuaians pray and stretch out their hands calling for mercy and blessings. Yahuah will spew it all out of His mouth.

Tainted prayers from sinful lips do not shield from judgment. They cause judgment!

And יהוה said to me, “There is a conspiracy among the men of Yehuḏah and among the inhabitants of Yerushalayim. “They have turned back to the crookednesses of their forefathers who refused to hear My words, and they have gone after other mighty ones to serve them. The house of Yisra’ĕl and the house of Yehuḏah have broken My covenant I made with their fathers.”  Therefore thus said יהוה, “See, I am bringing evil on them which they are unable to escape. Then they shall cry out to Me, but I shall not listen to them.

" In Exodus 37:29 we learn that the holy anointing oil and the pure incense was the work of a perfumer.

And he made the set-apart anointing oil and the clean incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the perfumer.

In Ecclesiastes 10:1 it is said,

Dead flies make the perfumer’s ointment stink, ferment; a little folly outweighs wisdom, esteem.

" In Hebrew, a perfumer is one who mixes oil and incense.

The Messenger of Revelation 8 is Yahuah's perfumer,

the one who mixes the incense.

But he will not mix the strange, stinking incense corrupted with dead flies. There were times in my walk with Yahuah - and I say it shamefully - there were dead flies in my incense. My prayers were a stench in His nostrils, because a pet sin clung to me. I cried an ocean of tears over the sin, but I really didn't want to let it go.

Do you encourage others to pray with filthy flies in your own incense? Do you believe Yahuah is going to accept your prayers when the dead flies of secret, unforsaken sin has caused them to stink before His throne?

Be honest! Is there a dead fly in your incense? Is sin shutting out your prayer life?

Certainly Yahuah will hear the prayer and cry of a repentant heart. He hears even the sinner's prayer of contrition. But He said His ears are closed to the corrupt, putrid prayers of disobedient and rebellious Yahuah’shuaians.

The eyes of יהוה are on the righteous, And His ears unto their cry.

" But listen to what Yahuah said to His children in Israel who committed abominations: "and He said to me,

And He said to me, “Have you seen, O son of man? Is it a small matter to the house of Yehuḏah to do the abominations which they have done here? For they have filled the land with violence, and turn back to provoke Me. And see, they are putting the branch to My nose.  “Therefore I shall indeed deal in wrath. My eye shall not pardon nor would I spare. And they shall cry in My ears with a loud voice, but I shall not hear them.”

. The Apostles Prophesied That in the Last Days There Would be a Division in the Assembly Regarding Prayer!

The apostles of our Messiah Yahuah’shua clearly warned some would give themselves over to lust and wor
