Gifts of Yahweh

The Spirit of יהוה shall rest upon Him –

 Elohim blessed the seventh day and set it apart, because on it He rested from all His work which Elohim in creating had made and He rested on the seventh day and rest yourselves

under the tree.

So the people rested on the seventh day “Remember the word which Mosheh, servant of יהוה, commanded you, saying, ‘יהוה your Elohim is giving you rest, “But now יהוה my Elohim has given me rest all around, there is neither adversary nor evil incident. Blessed be יהוה, who has given rest to His people“Who would give me wings like a dove! I would fly away and be at rest.

My being finds rest in Elohim alone; From Him is my deliverance. Because my expectation is from Him. Pray for the peace of Yerushalayim, Let those who love You be at rest. Wisdom rests in the heart of him who has understanding, And even among fools it becomes known. Come to Me, all you who labour and are burdened, and I shall give you rest. And they rested on the Sabbath according to the command. whom heaven needs to receive until the times of restoration of all matters, of which Elohim spoke through the mouth of all His set-apart prophets since of old. The heaven is My throne, and earth is My footstool. What house shall you build for Me? says יהוה, or what is the place of My rest? and rest on the Torah, and make your boast in Elohim, having been restored to favour, we shall be saved by His life. And not only this, but we also exult in Elohim through our Master יהושע Messiah, through whom we have now received the restoration to favour. For if their casting away is the restoration to favour of the world, what is their acceptance but life from the dead? For the rest, it is sought in trustees, that those should be found trustworthy. And all matters are from Elohim, who has restored us to favour with Himself through יהושע Messiah, and has given us the service of restoration to favour, that is, that Elohim was in Messiah restoring the world to favour unto Himself, not reckoning their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of restoration to favour. Therefore we are envoys on behalf of Messiah, as though Elohim were pleading through us. We beg, on behalf of Messiah: Be restored to favour with Elohim. For the rest, brothers, rejoice. Be made perfect, be encouraged, be of one mind, live in peace. And the Elohim of love and peace shall be with you. and to completely restore to favour both of them unto Elohim in one body through the stake, having destroyed the enmity by it and to give you who are afflicted rest with us when the Master יהושע is revealed from heaven with His mighty messengers, Reprove those who are sinning, in the presence of all, so that the rest also might fear. For the rest, there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Master, the righteous Judge, shall give to me on that Day, and not to me only but also to all those loving His appearing. Therefore, since a promise remains of entering into His rest, let us fear lest any of you seem to have come short of it. For we who have believed do enter into that rest, as He has said, “As I swore in My wrath, if they shall enter into My rest...” And yet His works have come into being from the foundation of the world. For somewhere He has said thus about the seventh day, “And Elohim rested on the seventh day from all His works,” For if Yehoshua had given them rest, He would not have spoken of another day after that. For the one, having entered into His rest, has himself also rested from his works, as Elohim rested from His own Let us therefore do our utmost to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience. so that he no longer lives the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but according to the desire of Elohim. If you are reproached for the Name of Messiah, you are blessed, because the Spirit of esteem and of Elohim rests upon you. On their part He is blasphemed, but on your part He is praised. And by this we know that we are of the truth, and shall set our hearts at rest before Him, And I heard a voice out of the heaven saying to me, “Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Master from now on.’ ” “Yes,” says the Spirit, “in order that they rest from their labours, and their works follow with them.”

The Spirit of wisdom and understanding,

And thou shalt speak to all that are wise in heart, whom Ihave

filled with the spirit of wisdom,

And I have filled him with the spirit of YAHWEH, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in

knowledge,and largeness of heart,   and in the hearts of all that are wise-hearted I have put

wisdom; that they may make all that I have commanded thee: according to the wisdom of an

Messenger  of  YAHWEH, to know all things that are on the earth. Behold, thou desirest truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part thou shalt make me to know wisdom. The mouth of the righteous speaketh wisdom, and his tongue talketh of judgment. My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understandingWhence hath this man this wisdom, and these mighty works? and what wisdom is this which is given to him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands? And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elijah, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Messiah. and became strong in spirit, filled with wisdom: and the grace of Yahweh was upon him. who are known to be filled with the Set-apart Spirit and wisdom, Oh, the depth of riches, and wisdom and knowledge of Elohim! How unsearchable His judgments and untraceable His ways! For Messiah did not send me to immerse, but to bring the Good News, not with wisdom of words, that the stake of Messiah should not be nullified. Where is the wise? Where is the scholar? Where is the debater of this age? Has not Elohim made foolish the wisdom of this world? And of Him you are in Messiah יהושע, who became for us wisdom from Elohim, righteousness also, and set-apartness and redemption, in order that your belief should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of Elohim. Yet we speak wisdom among those who are perfect, and not the wisdom of this age, nor of the rulers of this age that are being brought to naught. But we speak the wisdom of Elohim, which was hidden in a secret, and which Elohim ordained before the ages for our esteem, which we also speak, not in words which man’s wisdom teaches but which the Set-apart Spirit teaches, comparing spiritual matters with spiritual matters. for to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to another a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit, he witness of our conscience that we behaved ourselves in the world in simplicity and sincerity of Elohim, not in fleshly wisdom but in the favour of Elohim, and much more toward you. which He has lavished on us in all wisdom and insight, that the Elohim of our Master יהושע Messiah, the Father of esteem, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, so that now, through the assembly, the many-sided wisdom of Elohim might be known to the principalities and authorities in the heavenlies, have not ceased praying for you, and asking that you be filled with the knowledge of His desire in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, Let the Word of Messiah dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing with pleasure in your hearts to the Master in psalms and songs of praise and spiritual songs. But the wisdom from above is first clean, then peaceable, gentle, ready to obey, filled with compassion and good fruits, and reckon the patience of our Master as deliverance, as also our beloved brother Sha’ul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him, aying with a loud voice, “Worthy is the Lamb having been slain to receive power and riches and wisdom, and strength and respect and esteem and blessing!” saying, “Amĕn! The blessing, and the esteem, and the wisdom, and the thanksgiving, and the respect, and the power, and the might, to our Elohim forever and ever. Amĕn.”

The Spirit of counsel and might,

Now listen to my voice. Let me counsel you and Elohim be with you: Stand before Elohim for the people, and you shall bring the matters to Elohim.  With Him are wisdom and might, He has counsel and understanding. Declare and bring near, let them even take counsel together. Set your heart on it, take counsel, and speak up!”  Who has announced this from of old? Who has declared it from that time? Is it not I, יהוה? And there is no mighty one besides Me, a righteous Ěl and a Saviour, there is none besides Me. great in counsel and mighty in work, for Your eyes are open to all the ways of the sons of men, to give everyone according to his ways and according to the fruit of his deeds. Therefore, O sovereign, let my counsel be acceptable to you, and break off your sins by righteousness, and your crookednesses by showing favour to the poor – your prosperity might be extended.” according to the counsel of יהוה and of those who tremble at the command of our Elohim. And let it be done according to the Torah. With Him are wisdom and might, He has counsel and understanding. Have you heard the secret counsel of Eloah? And do you limit wisdom to yourself? To me they listened, and they waited, and kept silence at my counsel. Blessed is the man who shall not walk in the counsel of the wrong, And shall not stand in the path of sinners, And shall not sit in the seat of scoffers, Declare them guilty, O Elohim! Let them fall by their own counsels; Because they rebelled against the words of Ěl, And despised the counsel of the Most High. Thrust them away for their many transgressions, Because they have rebelled against You. How long would I take counsel in my being, Grief in my heart day by day? How long would my enemy be exalted over me? I bless יהוה who has given me counsel; My kidneys also instruct me in the nights. Let Me instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; Let Me counsel, My eye be on you. The counsel of יהוה stands forever, The wise one hears and increases learning, And the understanding one gets wise counsel, “For I kept not back from declaring to you all the counsel of Elohim. For who has known the mind of יהוה? Or who has become His counsellor?” in whom also we did obtain an inheritance, being previously ordained according to the purpose of Him working all matters according to the counsel of His desire, And you shall love יהוה your Elohim with all your heart, and with all your being, and with all your might. Guard to do every command which I command you today, that you might live, “For יהוה your Elohim is Elohim of mighty ones and Master of masters, the great Ěl, mighty and awesome, Against You, You alone, have I sinned, And done evil in Your eyes; That You might be proven right in Your words; Be clear when You judge. O Elohim, save me by Your Name, And rightly rule me by Your might. So the word of the Master was growing mightily and prevailing. For since the creation of the world His invisible qualities have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, both His everlasting power and Mightiness, for them to be without excuse,

The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of יהוה,

And out of the ground יהוה Elohim made every tree grow that is pleasant to the sight and good for food, with the tree of life in the midst of the garden and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. but do not eat of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for in the day that you eat of it you shall certainly die.” and I have filled him with the Spirit of Elohim in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all work, and He has filled him with the Spirit of Elohim, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all work, the saying of him who hears the words of Ěl, and knows the knowledge of the Most High, who sees the vision of the Almighty, who falls down, with eyes opened wide: “Do not multiply words so proudly, proudly; let no arrogance come from your mouth, for יהוה is an Ěl of knowledge, and by Him deeds are weighed. “Now give me wisdom and knowledge, so that I go out and come in before this people wisdom and knowledge are given to you And the rest of the people, the priests, the Lĕwites, the gatekeepers, the singers, the Nethinim, and all those who had separated themselves from the peoples of the lands unto the Torah of Elohim, their wives, their sons, and their daughters, all who had knowledge and understanding, Would a wise man answer with vain knowledge, or fill his belly with the east wind? Does anyone teach Ěl knowledge, since He judges those that are exalted? Do you know the balancing of the clouds, the wonders of the One perfect in knowledge?

Day to day pours forth speech, And night to night reveals knowledge. And they have said, “How could Ěl know? And is there knowledge in the Most High?” Teach me good sense and knowledge, For I have trusted in Your commands. Then you would understand the fear of יהוה, And find the knowledge of Elohim. For יהוה gives wisdom; Out of His mouth come knowledge and understanding. For wisdom would enter your heart, And knowledge be pleasant to your being, By His knowledge the depths were broken up, And clouds drop down dew. The fear of יהוה is the beginning of wisdom, And the knowledge of the Set-apart One is understanding for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of יהוה as the waters cover the sea to give knowledge of deliverance to His people, by the forgiveness of their sins, Therefore by works of Torah no flesh shall be declared right before Him, for by the Torah is the knowledge of sin. For I bear them witness that they have an ardour for Elohim, but not according to knowledge. Oh, the depth of riches, and wisdom and knowledge of Elohim! How unsearchable His judgments and untraceable His ways! that in Him you were enriched in all – in every word and all knowledge –

And if I have prophecy, and know all secrets and all knowledge, and if I have all belief, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am none at all. Love never fails. And whether there be prophecies, they shall be inactive; or tongues, they shall cease; or knowledge, it shall be inactive.

Wake up to soberness, righteously, and do not sin, for some do not have the knowledge of Elohim. I speak this to your shame. But thanks be to Elohim who always leads us on, to overcome in Messiah, and manifests through us the fragrance of His knowledge in every place.

For Elohim, who said, “Let light shine out of darkness,” is the One who has shone in our hearts for the enlightening of the knowledge of the esteem of Elohim in the face of יהושע Messiah. in cleanness, in knowledge, in patience, in kindness, in the Set-apart Spirit, in love unfeigned, in belief, and speech, and knowledge, and all diligence, and in your love for us – that you should excel in this kind gift as well. overthrowing reasonings and every high matter that exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to the Messiah, that the Elohim of our Master יהושע Messiah, the Father of esteem, would give you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him, to know the love of Messiah which surpasses knowledge, in order that you might be filled to all the completeness of Elohim. until we all come to the unity of the belief and of the knowledge of the Son of Elohim, to a perfect man, to the measure of the stature of the completeness of Messiah, And this I pray, that your love might extend more and more in knowledge and all discernment, What is more, I even count all to be loss because of the excellence of the knowledge of Messiah יהושע my Master, for whom I have suffered the loss of all, and count them as refuse, in order to gain Messiah, That is also why we, from the day we heard, have not ceased praying for you, and asking that you be filled with the knowledge of His desire in all wisdom and spiritual understanding, to walk worthily of the Master, pleasing all, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of Elohim,

in order that their hearts might be encouraged, being knit together in love, and to all riches of the entire confirmation of understanding, to a true knowledge of the secret of Elohim, and of the Father, and of the Messiah, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. and have put on the new one who is renewed in knowledge according to the likeness of Him who created him, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. in meekness instructing those who are in opposition, lest somehow Elohim gives them repentance unto a thorough knowledge of the truth, always learning and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. a servant of Elohim and an emissary of יהושע Messiah, according to the belief of Elohim’s chosen ones and knowledge of the truth according to reverence, so that the sharing of your belief might become working in the knowledge of all the good which is in you toward Messiah יהושע. Favour and peace be increased to you in the knowledge of Elohim and of יהושע our Master, as His Mighty-like power has given to us all we need for life and reverence, through the knowledge of Him who called us to esteem and uprightness. And for this reason do your utmost to add to your belief uprightness, to uprightness knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control endurance, to endurance reverence, For if these are in you and increase, they cause you to be neither inactive nor without fruit in the knowledge of our Master יהושע Messiah. For if, after they have escaped the defilements of the world through the knowledge of the Master and Saviour יהושע Messiah, they are again entangled in them and overcome, the latter end is worse for them than the first. but grow in the favour and knowledge of our Master and Saviour יהושע Messiah. To Him be the esteem both now and to a day that abides. Amĕn. And I went to the messenger and said to him, “Give me the little book.” And he said to me, “Take and eat it, and it shall make your stomach bitter, but it shall be as sweet as honey in your mouth.

“I am the Elohim of your father Aḇraham and the people feared יהוה, and believed יהוה and His servant Mosheh. “Do not fear, for Elohim has come to prove you, and in order that His fear be before you, so that you do not sin.” I shall send My fear before you, and cause confusion among all the people to whom you come, Each one of you should fear his mother and his father, and guard My Sabbaths. I am יהוה your Elohim. ‘Do not curse the deaf or put a stumbling-block before the blind, but fear your Elohim. I am יהוה. ‘Rise up before the grey-headed. And you shall favour the face of an old man, and shall fear your Elohim. I am יהוה. ‘And do not oppress one another, but you shall fear your Elohim. For I am יהוה your Elohim. Take no interest from him, or profit, but you shall fear your Elohim, and your brother shall live with you. ‘Do not rule over him with harshness, but you shall fear your Elohim. Only, do not rebel against יהוה, nor fear the people of the land, for they are our bread. Their defence has turned away from them, and יהוה is with us. Do not fear them.” Oh, that they had such a heart in them, to fear Me and to guard all My commands always, so that it might be well with them and with their children forever!

 so that you fear יהוה your Elohim, to guard all His laws and His commands which I command you, you and your son and your grandson, all the days of your life, and that your days be prolonged. therefore you shall guard the commands of יהוה your Elohim, to walk in His ways and to fear Him. And now, Yisra’ĕl, what is יהוה your Elohim asking of you, but to fear יהוה your Elohim, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being, Walk after יהוה your Elohim and fear Him, and guard His commands and obey His voice, and serve Him and cling to Him. And it shall be with him, and he shall read it all the days of his life, so that he learns to fear יהוה his Elohim and guard all the Words of this Torah and these laws, to do them, And יהוה brought us out of Mitsrayim with a strong hand and with an outstretched arm, with great fear and with signs and wonders. “If you do not guard to do all the Words of this Torah that are written in this book, to fear this esteemed and awesome Name, יהוה your Elohim, And your life shall be hanging in suspense before you, and you shall fear day and night, and not be certain of your life. And it is יהוה who is going before you, He Himself is with you. He does not fail you nor forsake you. Do not fear nor be discouraged.” so that all the peoples of the earth shall know the hand of יהוה, that it is strong, so that you shall fear יהוה your Elohim forever.” And now, fear יהוה, serve Him in perfection and in truth, and put away the mighty ones which your fathers served beyond the River and in Mitsrayim, and serve יהוה! If you fear יהוה, and shall serve Him and obey His voice, and not rebel against the command of יהוה, then both you and the sovereign who reigns over you shall follow יהוה your Elohim. Serve יהוה with fear, And rejoice with trembling. I enter Your house In the greatness of Your kindness; I bow myself toward Your set-apart Hĕḵal in Your fear. For יהוה is with the generation of the righteous. The fear of יהוה is clean, standing forever; The right-rulings of יהוה are true, They are righteous altogether, When I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I fear no evil. For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. Who, then, is the man that fears יהוה? He teaches him in the way he should choose. The secret of יהוה is with those who fear Him, And He makes His covenant known to them. יהוה is my light and my deliverance; Whom should I fear? יהוה is the refuge of my life; Whom should I dread?How great is Your goodness, Which You have laid up for those fearing You, Which You have prepared for those taking refuge in You In the sight of the sons of men! And His compassion is from generation to generation, to those who fear Him. And fear seized all, and they praised Elohim, saying, “A great prophet has been raised up among us,” and, “Elohim has visited His people.” Do not fear, little flock, because your Father did delight to give you the reign. And we know that Elohim does not hear sinners. But if anyone fears Elohim and does His desire, He hears him. For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out, “Abba, Father.” Good! By unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by belief. Do not be arrogant, but fear. Knowing, therefore, the fear of יהוה, we persuade men, but we have been made manifest to Elohim, and I also trust in your consciences to have been manifested.  Having, then, these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all defilement of the flesh and spirit, perfecting set-apartness in the fear of Elohim. or see how you have been saddened according to Elohim – how much it worked out in you eagerness; indeed, clearing of yourselves; indeed, displeasure; indeed, fear; indeed, longing; indeed, ardour; indeed, righting of wrong! In every way you proved yourselves to be clear in the matter. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casts out fear, because fear holds punishment, and he who fears has not been made perfect in love. hese are rocky reefs in your love feasts, feasting with you, feeding themselves without fear, waterless clouds borne about by the winds, late autumn trees without fruit, twice dead, pulled up by the roots, but others save with fear, snatching them out of the fire, hating, even the garment defiled by the flesh And after the three and a half days a spirit of life from Elohim entered into them, and they stood upon their feet, and great fear fell on those who saw them. And the nations were enraged, and Your wrath has come, and the time of the dead to be judged, and to give the reward to Your servants the prophets and to the set-apart ones, and to those who fear Your Name, small and great, and to destroy those who destroy the earth.” ho shall not fear You, O יהוה, and esteem Your Name? Because You alone are kind. Because all nations shall come and worship before You, for Your righteousnesses have been made manifest.” standing at a distance for fear of her torture, saying, ‘Woe! Woe, the great city Baḇel, the mighty city, because your judgment has come in one hour!’ And a voice came from the throne, saying, “Praise our Elohim, all you His servants and those who fear Him, both small and great!”

(Isa 11:2-4)

and shall make Him breathe in the fear of יהוה.

And He shall not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears.

But with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and shall decide with straightness for the meek ones of the earth, and shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and slay the wrong with the breath of His lips.

For the gifts and the calling of Elohim are not to be repented of.
