THE PSALM ONE
“The Spirit of יהוה has spoken through me, And His word is on my tongue.
This is a psalm of instruction concerning good and evil, setting
before us life and death, the blessing and the curse, that we may take the right way which leads to happiness and avoid that
which will certainly end in our misery and ruin.
PSALM 1
Blessed is the man
who shall not walk in the counsel
of the wrong,
And
shall not stand in the path of sinners,
And
shall not sit in the seat of scoffers,
But
his delight is in the Torah of יהוה, And
he meditates
in His Torah day and night.
For he shall be as a tree Planted by the rivers of water,
That yields
its fruit in its season,
And whose leaf does not wither,
And whatever he does prospers.
The wrong are not so,
But are
like the chaff which the wind blows away.
Therefore the wrong shall not rise in the judgment,
Nor
sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
For יהוה knows the way of the righteous,
But
the way of the wrong comes to naught.
--------------------
“Blessed are your men and blessed are these your servants,
who stand continually before you and hear your wisdom!
Blessed is the man who trusts in יהוה,
And whose trust is יהוה.
“For he shall be like a tree planted
by the waters,
which spreads out its roots
by the river, and does not see when heat comes.
And his leaf shall be green,
and in the year of drought he is not anxious
, nor does he cease from yielding fruit.
The
man who is separated from sin and separated to the Scriptures has all the qualities of a strong, healthy, fruitful tree: he has a never-failing supply of nourishment and refreshment. he displays the graces of the Spirit, and
his words and actions are always timely and appropriate. his spiritual life is not subject to cyclical changes but is characterized
by continuous inner renewal.
As D. L. Moody put it,
"All the Lord's trees are evergreen."

PSALM 2
The Psalm of Messiah the
Prince;
And we bring you the Good News, the promise made the
fathers,that
Elohim has filled this for us, their children, having raised up יהושע, as
it has also been written in the second Psalm, ‘You are My Son, today I
have brought You forth.’ “And that He raised Him out of the dead, no
more to return to corruption, He has said thus, ‘I shall give you the trustworthy kindnesses of Dawiḏ.’
To
place this Psalm in its proper setting, we must look ahead to the close of the Great Tribulation, immediately prior to the
glorious Return and reign of our Yahushua Ha Maschach. At this time a vast federation of rulers and nations will unite in
a passionate determination to prevent Messiah from taking the reigns of world government.
Why do the gentiles rage And the peoples meditate emptiness?
The sovereigns of the earth take their stand,
And the rulers take counsel together,
Against יהוה and against His Messiah, and
say,
“Let us tear apart Their bonds,
And throw
away Their ropes from us.”
He who is sitting in the heavens laughs,
יהוה mocks at them.
Then He speaks to them in His wrath,
And troubles them in His rage, saying,
“But I, I have set My Sovereign on Tsiyon,
My set-apart mountain.”“I inscribe for a law:
יהוה has said to
Me,
‘You are My Son,
Today I have brought You forth.
‘Ask of Me, and I make the gentiles Your inheritance,
And the ends of the earth Your possession.
‘Break them with a rod of iron,
Dash them to pieces like a potter’s
vessel.’ ”
And now, be wise, O sovereigns;
Be instructed, you rulers of the earth.
Serve יהוה with fear,
And rejoice with trembling.
Kiss the Son, lest He be enraged,
And you perish in the way,
For soon His wrath is to be kindled.
Blessed are all those taking refuge in
Him.
Let us read it with the eye of faith,
beholding, as in a glass, the final triumph of our
Yahushua Ha maschiach
over all his enemies.
He
that sitteth in the heavens shall laugh: the Lord shall have them in derision
They have
hatched adders’ eggs and they weave the spider’s web.
Whoever eats their eggs dies,
and when one is broken an adder is hatched.
Their webs
do not become garments,
nordo they cover themselves with their works.
Their works
are works of wickedness,
and a deed
of violence is in their hands.
o
are the paths of all who forget Ěl,
and
the expectancy of a defiled one does perish,
whose
refuge is cut off,
and
whose trust is a spider’s web.
For not knowing
the righteousness of Elohim, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, they did not subject themselves to the righteousness
of Elohim For to which of the messengers did He ever say, “You are My Son, today I have brought You forth”? And
again, “I shall be to Him a Father, and He shall be to Me a Son
We are here told who would appear as adversaries to Yahushua
ha Maschiach. As this world is the kingdom of Satan, unconverted
men, of every rank, party, and character, are stirred up by him to oppose the cause of YAHWEH. But the rulers of the earth
generally have been most active. The truths and precepts of Messianites are against ambitious projects and worldly lusts.
We are told what they aim at in this opposition. They would break asunder the bands of conscience, and the cords of YAHWEH's
commandments; they will not receive, but cast them away as far as they can
The Messiah Yahushua has all power both in heaven and in earth,
and is Head over all things to the Assembly , notwithstanding the restless endeavours of his enemies. Yahushua's throne is
set up in his set apart ones, that is, in the hearts of all believers
