place. From there they set out to Guḏgoḏah, and from Guḏgoḏah to Yotḇathah, a land of rivers of water. At that time יהוה separated the tribe of Lĕwi to bear the ark of the covenant of יהוה, to stand before יהוה, to serve Him, and to bless in His Name, to this day. Therefore Lĕwi has no portion nor inheritance with his brothers. יהוה is his inheritance, as יהוה your Elohim promised him.  “And I stayed in the mountain for forty days and forty nights. And יהוה heard me at that time also, and יהוה chose not to destroy you.  “And יהוה said to me, ‘Arise, go before the people, to set out, and let them go in and possess the land which I swore to their fathers to give them.’  “And now, Yisra’ĕl, what is יהוה your Elohim asking of you, but to fear יהוה your Elohim, to walk in all His ways and to love Him, and to serve יהוה your Elohim with all your heart and with all your being, to guard the commands of יהוה and His laws which I command you today for your good?  “See, the heavens and the heaven of heavens belong to יהוה your Elohim, also the earth with all that is in it. “יהוה delighted only in your fathers, to love them. And He chose their seed after them, you above all peoples, as it is today. “For you are a set-apart people to יהוה your Elohim. יהוה your Elohim has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a treasured possession above all the peoples on the face of the earth.  for you are a set-apart people to יהוה your Elohim, and יהוה has chosen you to be a people for Himself, a treasured possession above all the peoples who are on the face of the earth. , “And יהוה has caused you to proclaim today to be His people, a treasured possession, as He has spoken to you, and to guard all His commands,  For Yah has chosen Yaʽaqoḇ for Himself, Yisra’ĕl for His treasured possession.. “You alone have I known of all the clans of the earth, therefore I punish you for all your crookednesses.”  “And you shall circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and harden your neck no more.  “For יהוה your Elohim is Elohim of mighty ones and Master of masters, the great Ěl, mighty and awesome, who shows no partiality nor takes a bribe. “He executes right-ruling for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and a garment.  “And you shall love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Mitsrayim.  “Fear יהוה your Elohim. Serve Him, and cling to Him, and swear by His Name.  “He is your praise, and He is your Elohim, who has done for you these great and awesome deeds which your eyes have seen.  “Your fathers went down to Mitsrayim with seventy beings, and now יהוה your Elohim has made you as numerous as the stars of the heavens. not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares יהוה. making it obvious that you are a letter of Messiah, served by us, written not with ink but by the Spirit of the living Elohim, not on tablets of stone but on fleshly tablets of the heart. “See, the days are coming,” declares יהוה, “when I shall make a new covenant with the house of Yisra’ĕl and with the house of Yehuḏah not like the covenant I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Mitsrayim, My covenant which they broke, though I was a husband to them,” declares יהוה. “For this is the covenant I shall make with the house of Yisra’ĕl after those days, declares יהוה: I shall put My Torah in their inward parts, and write it on their hearts. And I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people. But now He has obtained a more excellent service, inasmuch as He is also Mediatorof a better covenant, which was constituted on better promises.  For if that first covenant had been faultless, then no place would have been sought for a second For finding fault with them, He says, “See, the days are coming,” says יהוה, “when I shall conclude with the house of Yisra’ĕl and with the house of Yehuḏah a renewed covenant not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Mitsrayim, because they did not continue in My covenant, and I disregarded them,” says יהוה.  “Because this is the covenant that I shall make with the house of Yisra’ĕl after those days, says יהוה, giving My laws in their mind, and I shall write them on their hearts, and I shall be their Elohim, and they shall be My people. “And they shall by no means teach each one his neighbour, and each one his brother, saying, ‘Know יהוה,’ because they all shall know Me, from the least of them to the greatest of them.“Because I shall forgive their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawlessnesses I shall no longer remember.” By saying, ‘renewed,’ He has made the first old. Now what becomes old and growing aged is near disappearing. And I, Yoḥanan, saw the set-apart city, renewed Yerushalayim, coming down out of the heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the heaven saying, “See, the Booth of Elohim is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and Elohim Himself shall be with them and be their Elohim. “And Elohim shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning, nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away.”  And He who was sitting on the throne said, “See, I make all matters new.” And He said to me, “Write, for these words are true and trustworthy.”  And He said to me, “It is done! I am the ‘Aleph’ and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of life without payment. “The one who overcomes shall inherit all this, and I shall be his Elohim and he shall be My son.  “But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers, and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.”  And one of the seven messengers who held the seven bowls filled with the seven last plagues came to me and spoke with me, saying, “Come, I shall show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the great city, the set-apart Yerushalayim, descending out of the heaven from Elohim,  having the esteem of Elohim, and her light was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal,  and having a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names written on them, which are those of the twelve tribes of the children of Yisra’ĕl: “And it shall be that you divide it by lot as an inheritance for yourselves, and for the strangers who sojourn in your midst and who bear children among you. And they shall be to you as native-born among the children of Yisra’ĕl – with you they have an inheritance in the midst of the tribes of Yisra’ĕl1.  Because יהוה has compassion on Yaʽaqoḇ, and shall again choose Yisra’ĕl1, and give them rest in their own land. And the strangers shall join them, and they shall cling to the house of Yaʽaqob ‘For I am with you,’ declares יהוה, ‘to save you. Though I make a complete end of all gentiles where I have scattered you, yet I do not make a complete end of you. But I shall reprove you in judgment, and by no means leave you unpunished.’ “Do not fear, O Yaʽaqoḇ My servant,” declares יהוה, “for I am with you. Though I make a complete end of all the gentiles to which I have driven you, yet I do not make a complete end of you1. But I shall reprove you in right-ruling, and by no means leave you unpunished.”  For the displeasure of יהוה is against all the gentiles1, and His wrath against all their divisions. He shall put them under the ban, He shall give them over to the slaughter, Yisra’ĕl shall be saved by יהוה with an everlasting deliverance. You are not to be ashamed nor hurt, forever and ever. “And in the days of these sovereigns the Elah of the heavens shall set up a reign which shall never be destroyed, nor the reign pass on to other people – it crushes and puts to an end all these reigns, and it shall stand forever In the first year of Bĕlshatstsar sovereign of Baḇel, Dani’ĕl had a dream and visions of his head on his bed. Then he wrote down the dream, giving a summary of the matters.  Dani’ĕl spoke and said, “I was looking in my vision by night and saw the four winds of the heavens stirring up the Great Sea.  “And four great beasts came up from the sea, different from one another. “The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings. I was looking until its wings were plucked off, and it was lifted up from the earth and made to stand on two feet like a man, and it was given a man’s heart.  “And see, another beast, a second, like a bear. And it was raised up on one side, and had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth. And they said this to it, ‘Arise, devour much flesh!’  “After this I looked and saw another, like a leopard, which had on its back four wings of a bird. The beast also had four heads, and rule was given to it. “After this I looked in the night visions and saw a fourth beast, fearsome and burly, exceedingly strong. And it had great iron teeth. It devoured and crushed, and trampled down the rest with its feet. And it was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.  “I was thinking about the horns, then saw another horn, a little one, coming up among them, and three of the first horns were plucked out by the roots before it. And see, eyes like the eyes of a man were in this horn, and a mouth speaking great words.  “I was looking until thrones were set up, and the Ancient of Days was seated. His garment was white as snow, and the hair of His head was like clean wool, His throne was flames of fire, its wheels burning fire.  “A stream of fire was flowing and coming forth from His presence, and a thousand thousands served Him, and ten thousand times ten thousand stood before Him, the Judge was seated, and the books were opened. “I was looking. Then, because of the sound of the great words which the horn was speaking, I was looking until the beast was slain, and its body destroyed and given to the burning fire,  and the rest of the beasts had their rule taken away. But a lengthening of life was given to them, for a season and a time.  “I was looking in the night visions and saw One like the Son of Enosh1, coming with the clouds of the heavens! And He came to the Ancient of Days, and they brought Him near before Him.“And to Him was given rulership and preciousness and a reign, that all peoples, nations, and languages should serve Him. His rule is an everlasting rule which shall not pass away, and His reign that which shall not be destroyed. “As for me, Dani’ĕl, my spirit was pierced within my body, and the visions of my head alarmed me. “I drew near to one of those who stood by, and asked him the certainty of all this. And he spoke to me and made known to me the interpretation of the matters:  ‘These great beasts, which are four, are four sovereigns which rise up from the earth.  ‘Then the set-apart ones of the Most High shall receive the reign, and possess the reign forever, even forever and ever.’ “Then I desired for certainty concerning the fourth beast, which was different from all the others, very fearsome, with its teeth of iron and its nails of bronze, which devoured, crushed, and trampled down the rest with its feet, and concerning the ten horns that were on its head, and of the other horn that came up, before which three fell – this horn which had eyes and a mouth which spoke great words, whose appearance was greater than his fellows.  “I was looking, and this horn was fighting against the set-apart ones, and was prevailing against them, until the Ancient of Days came, and right-ruling was given to the set-apart ones of the Most High, and the time came and the set-apart ones took possession of the reign. “This is what he said, ‘The fourth beast is the fourth reign on earth, which is different from all other reigns, and it devours all the earth, tramples it down and crushes it.  ‘And the ten horns are ten sovereigns from this reign. They shall rise, and another shall rise after them, and it is different from the first ones, and it humbles three sovereign  and it speaks words against the Most High, and it wears out the set-apart ones of the Most High, and it intends to change appointed times1 and law2, and they are given into its hand for a time and times and half a time.  ‘But the Judgement shall sit, and they shall take away its rule, to cut off and to destroy, until the end.  ‘And the reign, and the rulership, and the greatness of the reigns under all the heavens, shall be given to the people, the set-apart ones of the Most High. His reign is an everlasting reign, and all rulerships shall serve and obey Him.’  “This is the end of the matter. As for me, Dani’ĕl, my thoughts greatly alarmed me, and my colour changed. And I kept the matter in my heart.”  For the reign belongs to יהוה, And He is ruling over the nations. ‘For I am with you,’ declares יהוה, ‘to save you. Though I make a complete end of all gentiles1 where I have scattered you, yet I do not make a complete end of you. But I shall reprove you in judgment, and by no means leave you unpunished.’. And יהוה shall roar from Tsiyon, and give forth His voice from Yerushalayim. And the heavens and earth shall shake, but יהוה shall be a refuge for His people, and a stronghold for the children of Yisra’ĕl.  “For the day of יהוה is near upon all the gentiles. As you have done, it shall be done to you, your reward shall come back on your own head.  “For as you have drunk on my set-apart mountain, so do all the gentiles drink continually. And they shall drink and shall swallow, and they shall be as though they had never been.  “But on Mount Tsiyon there shall be an escape1, and they shall be set-apart. And the house of Yaʽaqoḇ shall possess their possessions. In that day the Branch of יהוה shall be splendid and esteemed. And the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for the escaped ones1 of Yisra’ĕl.  And it shall be that he who is left in Tsiyon and he who remains in Yerushalayim is called set-apart, everyone who is written among the living in Yerushalayim.  “And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of יהוה shall be delivered1. For on Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim there shall be an escape2 as יהוה has said, and among the survivors whom יהוה calls.  And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of יהוה shall be saved.’ “And after this it shall be that I pour out My Spirit on all flesh. And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men dream dreams, your young men see visions.“And also on the male servants and on the female servants I shall pour out My Spirit in those days.  “And I shall give signs in the heavens and upon the earth: blood and fire and columns of smoke the sun is turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of יהוה. “And it shall be that everyone who calls on the Name of יהוה shall be delivered1. For on Mount Tsiyon and in Yerushalayim there shall be an escape  as יהוה has said, and among the survivors whom יהוה calls. For “everyone who calls on the Name of יהוה shall be saved.”  And I looked and saw a Lamb standing on Mount Tsiyon, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s Name1 written upon their foreheads. You step through the earth in rage, You thresh the gentiles in wrath. You shall go forth to save Your people, To save Your Anointed. You shall smite the Head from the house of the wrong, By laying bare from foundation to neck. Selah. “Therefore wait for Me,” declares יהוה, “until the day I rise up for plunder. For My judgment is to gather nations, to assemble reigns, to pour out on them My rage, all my burning wrath. For by the fire of My jealousy all the earth shall be consumed. ‘And I shall overturn the throne of reigns. And I shall destroy the might of the gentile reigns1, and overturn the chariots and their riders. And the horses and their riders shall come down, each by the sword of his brother. And the seventh messenger sounded, and there came to be loud voices in the heaven, saying, “The reign of this world has become the reign of our Master, and of His Messiah, and He shall reign forever and ever, “Look, the eyes of the Master יהוה are on the sinful reign1, and I shall destroy it from the face of the earth, except that, I do not completely destroy the house of Yaʽaqoḇ,” declares יהוה. And the devil, taking Him up on a high mountain, showed Him all the reigns of the world in a moment of time. And the devil said to Him, “All this authority I shall give You, and their esteem, for it has been delivered to me, and I give it to whomever I wish., also: in whom the mighty one of this age1 has blinded the minds of the unbelieving, so that the enlightening of the Good News of the esteem of Messiah, who is the likeness of Elohim, does not shine on them. “Now is the judgment of this world, now the ruler of this world1 shall be cast out. “I shall no longer talk much with you, for the ruler of this world is coming,1 and he possesses none at all in Me, concerning judgment because the ruler of this world1 is judged. Therefore יהושע responded and said to them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, the Son is able to do none at all by Himself, but only that which He sees the Father doing, because whatever He does, the Son also likewise does. ‘Therefore thus said יהוה, “I shall return to Yerushalayim with compassion. My house shall be built in it,” declares יהוה of hosts, “and a surveyor’s line be stretched out over Yerushalayim.” ’  “Again proclaim, saying, ‘Thus said יהוה of hosts, “Again My cities shall overflow with goodness. And יהוה shall again comfort Tsiyon, and shall again choose1 Yerushalayim“Sing and rejoice, O daughter of Tsiyon! For look, I am coming, and shall dwell in your midst1,” declares יהוה.  Cry aloud and shout, O inhabitant of Tsiyon, for great is the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl in your midst!” “And many gentiles shall be joined to יהוה in that day1, and they shall become My people. And I shall dwell in your midst. And you shall know that יהוה of hosts has sent Me to you. Because יהוה has compassion on Yaʽaqoḇ, and shall again choose Yisra’ĕl1, and give them rest in their own land. And the strangers shall join them, and they shall cling to the house of Yaʽaqoḇ2“Also the sons of the foreigner who join themselves to יהוה, to serve Him, and to love the Name of יהוה, to be His servants, all who guard the Sabbath, and not profane it, and hold fast to My covenant them I shall bring to My set-apart mountain, and let them rejoice in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their slaughterings are accepted on My altar, for My house is called a house of prayer for all the peoples.” The Master יהוה, who gathers the outcasts of Yisra’ĕl, declares, “I gather still others to him besides those who are gathered to him.” “And the gentiles shall come to your light1, and sovereigns to the brightness of your rising. “And it shall be that you divide it by lot as an inheritance for yourselves, and for the strangers who sojourn in your midst and who bear children among you. And they shall be to you as native-born among the children of Yisra’ĕl – with you they have an inheritance in the midst of the tribes of Yisra’ĕl1. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, have been grafted in among them, and came to share the root and fatness of the olive tree,  do not boast against the branches. And if you boast, remember: you do not bear the root, but the root bears you  You shall say then, “The branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.” Good! By unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by belief. Do not be arrogant, but fear.  For if Elohim did not spare the natural branches, He might not spare you either. See then the kindness and sharpness of Elohim: on those who fell sharpness, but toward you kindness, if you continue in His kindness, otherwise you also shall be cut off.  And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, shall be grafted in, for Elohim is able to graft them in again.  For if you were cut out of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a good olive tree, how much more shall these who are the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree?  For I do not wish you to be ignorant of this secret, brothers, lest you should be wise in your own estimation, that hardening in part has come over Yisra’ĕl, until the completeness of the gentiles1 has come in.. But his father refused and said, “I know, my son, I know. He also becomes a people, and he also is great. And yet, his younger brother is greater than he, and his seed is to become the completeness of the nations.”  And so all Yisra’ĕl shall be saved, as it has been written, “The Deliverer shall come out of Tsiyon, and He shall turn away wickedness from Yaʽaqoḇ,  So then you are no longer strangers and foreigners, but fellow citizens with the set-apart ones and members of the household of Elohim, The gentiles to be co-heirs, united in the same body, and partakers together1 in the promise in Messiah through the Good News and having a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names written on them, which are those of the twelve tribes of the children of Yisra’el  “And it shall be that in whatever tribe the stranger sojourns, there you give him his inheritance,” declares the Master יהוה. “And other sheep I have which are not of this fold – I have to bring them as well, and they shall hear My voice, and there shall be one flock, one shepherd“Shimʽon has declared how Elohim first visited the gentiles to take out of them a people for His Name.  “And the words of the prophets agree with this, as it has been written:  ‘After this I shall return and rebuild the Booth of Dawiḏ which has fallen down. And I shall rebuild its ruins, and I shall set it up,  so that the remnant of mankind shall seek יהוה, even all the gentiles on whom My Name has been called, says יהוה who is doing all this,’ “And יהוה shall inherit Yehuḏah, His portion in the Set-apart Land. And He shall again choose Yerushalayim“And it shall be that in whatever tribe the stranger sojourns, there you give him his inheritance,” declares the Master יהוה.  the three gates northward: one gate for Re’uḇĕn, one gate for Yehuḏah, one gate for Lĕwi. “And on the east side, four thousand five hundred cubits, three gates: one gate for Yosĕph, ongate for Binyamin, one gate for Dan. And on the south side, measuring four thousand five hundred cubits, three gates: one gate for Shimʽon, one gate for Yissasḵar, one gate for Zeḇulun. “And on the west side, four thousand five hundred cubits with their three gates: one gate for Gaḏ, one gate for Ashĕr, one gate for Naphtali. three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the twelve emissaries of the Lamb. And he who spoke with me had a golden measuring rod, to measure the city, and its gates, and its wall.  And the city lies four-cornered, and its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the rod: two thousand two hundred kilometres – the length, and the breadth, and height of it are equal.  And he measured its wall: sixty-five metres, according to the measure of a man, that is, of a messenger. And the structure of its wall was jasper. And the city was clean gold, like clear glass.  And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of precious stones: the first foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald,  the fifth sardonyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst.  And the twelve gates were twelve pearls – each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was clean gold, like transparent glass.  And I saw no Dwelling Place in it, for יהוה Ěl Shaddai is its Dwelling Place, and the Lamb.  And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it, for the esteem of Elohim lightened it, and the Lamb is its lamp.  And the gentiles, of those who are saved, shall walk in its light,1 and the sovereigns of the earth bring their esteem into it. And its gates shall not be shut at all by day, for night shall not be there.  And they shall bring the esteem and the appreciation of the gentiles into it. And there shall by no means enter into it whatever is unclean, neither anyone doing abomination and falsehood,1 but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. And he showed me a river of water of life, clear as crystal, coming from the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb.  In the middle of its street, and on either side of the river, was the tree of life, which bore twelve fruits, each tree yielding its fruit every month. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. And no longer shall there be any curse, and the throne of Elohim and of the Lamb shall be in it, and His servants shall serve Him. And they shall see His face, and His Name shall be upon their foreheads. And night shall be no more, and they shall have no need of a lamp or the light of the sun, because יהוה Elohim shall give them light. And they shall reign forever and ever. And he said to me, “These words are trustworthy and true. And יהוה Elohim of the set-apart prophets has sent His messenger to show His servants what has to take place with speed. “See, I am coming speedily! Blessed is he who guards the words of the prophecy of this book.”  And I, Yoḥanan, saw and heard these matters. And when I heard and saw, I fell down to worship before the feet of the messenger who showed me these matters. And he said to me, “See, do not! For I am your fellow servant, and of your brothers the prophets, and of those who are guarding the words of this book. Worship Elohim.”  And he said to me, “Do not seal the words of the prophecy of this book, because the time is near “He who does wrong, let him do more wrong; he who is filthy, let him be more filthy; he who is righteous, let him be more righteous; he who is set-apart, let him be more set-apart. “And see, I am coming speedily, and My reward is with Me, to give to each according to his work. “For the Son of Aḏam is going to come in the esteem of His Father with His messengers, and then He shall reward each according to his works. And kindness is Yours, O יהוה; For You reward each one according to his work If you say, “See, we did not know this,” Would not He who weighs the hearts discern it? He who watches over your life, Would He not know it? And shall He not repay man according to his work? and shall come forth – those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have practised evil matters, to a resurrection of judgment. who “shall render to each one according to his works For we all have to appear before the judgment seat of Messiah, in order for each one to receive according to what he has done in the body, whether good or evil. For we are His workmanship, created in Messiah יהושע unto good works, which Elohim prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Show yourself to them an example of good works1 in all matters. In teaching show uncorruptness, seriousness, who gave Himself for us, to redeem us from all lawlessness1 and to cleanse for Himself a people, His own possession, ardent for good works. Everyone doing sin also does lawlessness, and sin is lawlessness. “And she shall give birth to a Son, and you shall call His Name יהושע for He shall save1 His people from their sins “Repent therefore and turn back, for the blotting out of your sins, in order that times of refreshing might come from the presence of the Master, to open their eyes, to turn them from darkness to light,1 and the authority of Satan to Elohim, in order for them to receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who are set-apart by belief in Me.’  What, then, shall we say? Shall we continue in sin, to let favour increase? Let it not be! How shall we who died to sin1 still live in it? For if you live according to the flesh, you are going to die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you shall live.  For you have died, and your life has been hidden with Messiah in Elohim. who Himself bore our sins in His body on the timber, so that we, having died to sins, might live unto righteousness – by whose stripes you were healed Or do you not know that as many of us as were immersed into Messiah יהושע were immersed into His death We were therefore buried with Him through immersion into death, that as Messiah was raised from the dead by the esteem of the Father, so also we should walk in newness of life.  For if we have come to be grown together in the likeness of His death, we shall be also of the resurrection,  knowing this, that our old man was impaled with Him, so that the body of sin might be rendered powerless, to serve sin no longer. For he who has died has been made right from sin. And if we died with Messiah, we believe that we shall also live with Him,  knowing that Messiah, having been raised from the dead, dies no more – death no longer rules over Him. For in that He died, He died to sin once for all; but in that He lives, He lives to Elohim.  So you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to Elohim in Messiah יהושע our Master. Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body, to obey it in its desires,  neither present your members as instruments of unrighteousness to sin, but present yourselves to Elohim as being alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness to Elohim.  For sin shall not rule over you, for you are not under the law but under favour.  What then? Shall we sin because we are not under Torah but under favour? Let it not be!  Do you not know that to whom you present yourselves servants for obedience, you are servants of the one whom you obey, whether of sin to death, or of obedience to righteousness?  But thanks to Elohim that you were servants of sin, yet you obeyed from the heart that form of teaching to which you were entrusted. And having been set free from sin, you became servants of righteousness.  I speak as a man, because of the weakness of your flesh. For even as you did present your members as servants of uncleanness, and of lawlessness resulting in lawlessness, so now present your members as servants of righteousness resulting in set-apartness.  For when you were servants of sin, you were free from righteousness.  What fruit, therefore, were you having then, over which you are now ashamed? For the end thereof is death.  But now, having been set free from sin, and having become servants of Elohim, you have your fruit resulting in set-apartness, and the end, everlasting life.  And you were dead in trespasses and sins, But יהושע said to him, “Follow Me, and leave the dead to bury their own dead.” For the mind of the flesh is death, but the mind of the Spirit is life and peace And you, being dead in your trespasses1 and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He has made alive together with Him, having forgiven you all trespasses, And you were dead in trespasses and sins But she who is living in luxury is dead while she lives. We know that we have passed out of death into life, because we love the brothers. The one not loving his brother stays in death. “And to the messenger of the assembly in Sardis write, ‘He who has the seven Spirits of Elohim and the seven stars, says this, “I know your works, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the ruler of the authority of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience,  Let no one deceive you with empty words,1 for because of these the wrath of Elohim comes upon the sons of disobedience.  by the trickery of men, in cleverness, unto the craftiness of leading astray Let no one deceive you with empty words,1 for because of these the wrath of Elohim comes upon the sons of disobedience. overthrowing reasonings and every high matter that exalts itself against the knowledge of Elohim, taking captive every thought to make it obedient to the Messiah, and being ready to punish all disobedience, when your obedience is complete. He who believes in the Son possesses everlasting life, but he who does not obey the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of Elohim remains on him.Take a look at what you are facing. If anyone seems to trust in himself that he is of Messiah, let him reckon again for himself, that as he is of Messiah, so also are we.  For even if I should boast somewhat more about our authority, which the Master gave us for building up, and not for overthrowing you, I shall not be put to shame,  lest I seem to frighten you away by letters.  Because they say, “His letters are truly weighty and strong, but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech amounts to naught.”  Let such a one take this into account, that what we are in word by letters when absent, such we are also in deed when we are present.  For we do not presume to count ourselves or compare ourselves with those who commend themselves. But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise. But I am afraid, lest, as the serpent deceived Ḥawwah by his trickery, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Messiah. For, indeed, if he who is coming proclaims another יהושע,1 whom we have not proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different Good News which you have not accepted, you put up with it well enough! For many shall come in My Name, saying, ‘I am the Messiah,’ and they shall lead many astray. “If anyone then says to you, ‘Look, here is the Messiah!’ or ‘There!’ do not believe. “For false messiahs and false prophets shall arise, and they shall show great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the chosen ones. “I have come in My Father’s Name and you do not receive Me, if another comes in his own name, him you would receive For I reckon that I am not inferior to the most eminent emissaries.  But even if I am unskilled in word,1 yet not in knowledge. Indeed, in every way we have been manifested among you in all matters.  and reckon the patience of our Master as deliverance, as also our beloved brother Sha’ul wrote to you, according to the wisdom given to him, as also in all his letters, speaking in them concerning these matters, in which some are hard to understand,1 which those who are untaught and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do also the other Scriptures. For if a woman is not covered, let her also be shorn. But if it is a shame for a woman to be shorn or shaved, let her be covered.  You, then, beloved ones, being forewarned, watch, lest you also fall from your own steadfastness, being led away with the delusion of the lawless, Or did I commit sin in humbling myself in order to exalt you, because I brought good news, the Good News of Elohim to you without being paid?  Other assemblies I robbed, by receiving wages from them to serve you. And when I was present with you, and in need, I was not a burden to anyone, for what was lacking to me the brothers who came from Makedonia supplied. And in every way I kept myself – and shall keep – from being a burden to you It is a truth of Messiah in me, that this boasting in me shall not be stopped in the districts of Achaia. Why? Is it that I do not love you? Elohim knows!  And I shall go on doing as I do, in order to cut off the occasion from those desiring an occasion, so that in that which they boast, they might be found also as we are.  For such are false emissaries, deceptive workers, masquerading as emissaries of Messiah.  And no wonder! For Satan himself masquerades as a messenger of light! I marvel that you are so readily turning away from Him who called you in the favour of Messiah, to a different ‘Good News,For, indeed, if he who is coming proclaims another יהושע,1 whom we have not proclaimed, or if you receive a different spirit which you have not received, or a different Good News which you have not accepted, you put up with it well enough which is not another, only there are some who are troubling you and wishing to pervert the Good News of Messiah.  However, even if we, or a messenger out of heaven, bring a ‘Good News’ to you beside what we announced to you, let him be accursed. As we have said before, and now I say again, if anyone brings a ‘Good News’ to you beside what you have received, let him be accursed. But know this, that in the last days hard times shall come.  For men shall be lovers of self, lovers of money, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, thankless, wrong-doers,  unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, fierce, haters of good,  betrayers, reckless, puffed up, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of Elohim,  having a form of reverence1 but denying its power. And turn away from these! But evil men and impostors shall go on to the worse,1 leading astray and being led astray.  And because of the increase in lawlessness, the love of many shall become cold.  “He who does wrong, let him do more wrong; he who is filthy, let him be more filthy; he who is righteous, let him be more righteous; he who is set-apart, let him be more set-apart. For the earth has been defiled under its inhabitants, because they have transgressed the Torot1, changed2 the law, broken the everlasting covenant Therefore a curse shall consume the earth, and those who dwell in it be punished. Therefore the inhabitants of the earth shall be burned, and few men shall be left.  Sha’ul, a servant of יהושע Messiah, a called emissary, separated to the Good News of Elohim, which He promised before through His prophets in the Set-apart Scripture concerning His Son, who came of the seed of Dawiḏ according to the flesh,  who was designated Son of Elohim with power, according to the Set-apart Spirit, by the resurrection from the dead: יהושע Messiah, the Master of us,  through whom we have received favour and office of the emissary for belief-obedience among all the nations on behalf of His Name, among whom you also are the called ones of יהושע Messiah. To all who are in Rome, beloved of Elohim, called, set-apart ones: Favour to you and peace from Elohim our Father and the Master יהושע Messiah. First, I truly thank my Elohim through יהושע Messiah for you all, that your belief is spoken of in all the world.  For Elohim is my witness, whom I serve with my spirit in the Good News of His Son, how unceasingly I make mention of you, always asking in my prayers, if at all possible, I shall be blessed by the desire of Elohim, to come to you. For I long to see you, so as to impart some spiritual gift to you, for you to be established, and that is, to be encouraged together among you, each by the other’s belief – both yours and mine.  And I do not wish you to be unaware, brothers, that I often purposed to come to you, but was hindered until now, in order to have some fruit among you, as also among the other gentiles. I am a debtor both to Greeks and to foreigners, both to wise and to foolish.  That is why I am so eager to bring the Good News also to you who are in Rome.  For I am not ashamed of the Good News of Messiah, for it is the power of Elohim for deliverance to everyone who believes, to the Yehuḏite first and also to the Greek. For in it the righteousness of Elohim is revealed from belief to belief, as it has been written, “But the righteous shall live by belief.”1 Footnote: 1Hab. 2:4. For the wrath of Elohim is revealed from heaven against all wickedness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because that which is known of Elohim is manifest among them, for Elohim has manifested it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible qualities have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, both His everlasting power and Mightiness, for them to be without excuse, because, although they knew Elohim, they did not esteem Him as Elohim, nor gave thanks, but became vain in their reasonings, and their undiscerning heart was darkened.  Claiming to be wise, they became fools,  and changed the esteem of the incorruptible Elohim into the likeness of an image of corruptible man, and of birds and of four-footed beasts and of reptiles. Therefore Elohim gave them up to uncleanness in the lust of their hearts, to disrespect their bodies among themselves,  who changed the truth of Elohim into the falsehood, and worshipped and served what was created rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amĕn.  Because of this Elohim gave them over to degrading passions. For even their women exchanged natural relations for what is against nature,  and likewise, the men also, having left natural relations with woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing indecency, and receiving back the reward which was due for their straying. And even as they did not think it worth- while to possess the knowledge of Elohim, Elohim gave them over to a worthless mind, to do what is improper,  having been filled with all unrighteousness, whoring, wickedness, greed, evil; filled with envy, murder, fighting, deceit, evil habits; whisperers, slanderers, haters of Elohim, insolent, proud, boasters, devisers of evils, disobedient to parents, without discernment, covenant breakers, unloving, unforgiving, ruthles who, though they know the righteousness of Elohim, that those who practise such deserve death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practise them. Let no one deceive you in any way, because the falling away is to come first, and the man of lawlessness1 is to be revealed, the son of destruction,&nbs
