them fall in the midst of His camp, All around His Dwelling Place. So they ate
and were completely satisfied, For He brought them what they desired .They had
not turned away from their desire ,Their food was still in their mouths, When the wrath of Elohim came against them, And He
slew among their fat ones ,And He struck down the choice ones of Yisra’ĕl.In spite of all this they still sinned
,And did not believe in His wonders. So He ended their days in a breath, And their years in trouble When He slew them, then
they sought Him, And they returned and did earnestly Seek Ěl .And they remembered that Elohim was their rock,And the
Most High Ěl Their redeemer. But they flattered Him with their mouth ,And they lied to Him with their tongue ,For their
heart was not steadfast with Him ,And they were not true to His covenant .But He, the
Compassionate One,
Pardoned crookedness, And did not destroy them. And many a time He turned His displeasure
away ,And did not stir up all His wrath For He remembered that they were but flesh ,A passing breath that does not return
.How often they rebelled against Him in the wilderness,
And grieved Him in the desert !And
again and again they tried Ěl, And provoked the Set-apart One of Yisra’ĕl.
They did not remember His hand,The day when He redeemed them from the adversary ,How He worked His signs in Mitsrayim, And
His wonders in the field of Tsoʽan. He turned their rivers into blood ,And they could not drink
their streams .He sent among them swarms of flies which devoured them ,And frogs
which destroyed them And gave their crops to the caterpillar, And their labour to the locust. He destroyed their vines with
hail, And their sycamore trees with frost And gave their beasts over to the hail, And their livestock to bolts of fire .He
sent on them the burning of His displeasure ,Wrath, and rage, and distress ,A deputation of messengers of evils. He made a
path for His displeasure; He did not spare their being from death, But gave their
life over to the plague. And He smote all the first-born in Mitsrayim,
The first-fruits of strength in the tents of Ḥam, Then made His own people go forth
like sheep, And led them in the wilderness like a flock .And He led them on safely ,And they did not fear, But the sea covered
their enemies. And He brought them to the border of His set-apart place, This mountain whichHis
right hand had gained ,And drove out nations before them, And allotted them a measured inheritance, And made the tribes of
Yisra’ĕl dwell in their tents. Yet they tried and rebelled Against the Most High Elohim, And did not guard His
witnesses, But they turned back And acted treacherously like their fathers ;They twisted like a treacherous bow. For they
enraged Him with their high places ,And moved Him to jealousy with their carved images. When Elohim
heard this, He was wroth, And greatly despised Yisra’ĕl, And He left
the Dwelling Place of Shiloh, The Tent which He had set up among men. And He gave His strength
into captivity, And His comeliness into the hand of the adversary .And He gave His people over to the sword ,And He was wroth
with His inheritance. His young men were consumed by fire ,And His maidens were not praised. His priests fell by the
sword, And their widows could not weep.
Then
יהוה
awoke as one asleep ,As a mighty man who shouts because of
wine. And He smote His adversaries backward, He put them to an everlasting reproach. Then He rejected the tent of Yosĕph, And did not choose the tribe of Ephrayim, But chose the tribe of Yehuḏah, Mount Tsiyon, which He loved And He built His set-apart place like the heights, Like the earth He founded it forever
.And He chose Dawiḏ His servant ,And took him from the sheepfolds; He brought him in from tending the ewes, To shepherd Yaʽaqoḇ His people ,And Yisra’ĕl His inheritance .And he shepherded them According to
the integrity of his heart, And led them by the skill of his hands.
Heb 10:37
“For yet a little while He who is coming shall come and shall not delay.”“But the righteous shall live by belief ,but if anyone draws back, my being has no pleasure inhim .But we are not
of those who draw back to destruction ,but of belief to the preservation of life.
So how do you get faith?
And what more shall I say? For the time would fail me to relate of Gidʽon and Baraq and Shimshon
and Yiphtaḥ, Dawiḏ and Shemu’ĕl the prophets, who through belief, overcame reigns, worked righteousness ,obtained promises, stopped the mouths of lions, quenched the power of fire ,escaped the edge
of the sword, out of weakness were made strong, became mighty in battle put foreign
armies to flight Women received back their dead by resurrection .And others were tortured, not accepting release to
obtain a better resurrection .And others had trial of mockings and floggings and more ,of chains and imprisonment .They were
stoned, they were tried , they were sawn in two, they were slain with the sword. They went about in sheepskins, in goatskins
,being in need ,afflicted, mistreated, of whom the world was not worthy wandering in deserts and mountains and caves and holes
of the earth .And having obtained witness through the belief ,all these did not receive the promise, Elohim having provided what is better for us, that they
should not be made perfect apart from us.
Heb 12:1
We too,
then, having so great a cloud of witnesses all around us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin which so easily entangles
us, and let us run with endurance the race set before us, looking to the Princely Leader and Perfecter of our belief,
יהושע,
who for the joy that was set before Him endured the stake, having despised the
shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of Elohim.
יהוה,
saying, “Arise, and go down to the potter’s house ,and there I let you hear My words.”So I went down to the potter’s house ,and saw him doing a piece of work on the wheel .And the vessel that he made
of clay was ruined in the hand of the potter, so he remade it into another vessel, as it seemed good to the potter to do.Then the Word Of
יהוה
came to me, saying,
“O house of Yisra’ĕl,
am I not able to do with you as this potter? ”declares
יהוה.
“Look, as the clay is in the hand of the potter ,so are you in My hand,
O house of Yisra’ĕl!
“The moment I speak concerning a nation and concerning a reign ,to pluck up,to pull down ,and to destroy it, and that nation shall turn from its evil
because I have spoken against it then I shall repent of the evil that I thought to do to it. “And the moment I speak
concerning a nation and concerning a reign, to build and to plant it and it shall do evil in My eyes in not obeying My voice ,then I shall repent concerning the good with which I spoke of doing to it.
Isa 29:16
How perverse of you !Should the potter be reckoned as the clay ?Should what is made say of its Maker,“ He did
not make me” ?And what is formed say of Him who formed it,“He did not understand”?
Rom 9:20
But who are you, O man, to talk back to Elohim ?Shall that which is formed say to him who formed it,“Why have you made me like this? ”Does
not the potter have authority over the clay ,from the same lump to make one vessel for value and another not for value?
Isa 45:9 “
Woe to him who strives with his Maker!(a
potsherd with the potsherds of the earth).Does clay say to him who forms it ,‘What are you making?’ Or your handiwork
say,‘He has no hands’?
Psa 42:6
O my Elohim, my being is depressed within me ;Therefore I remember You from
the land of the Yardĕn And from the heights of Ḥermon, From Mount Mitsʽar.Why are you depressed O my being ?And
why are you restless within me ?Wait for Elohim: for I shall yet thank
Him ,For the deliverance of His face!
2Pe 1:5
And for this reason do your utmost to
add to your belief uprightness,to uprightness knowledge, to knowledge self-control,
to self-control endurance, to endurance reverence, to reverence brotherly affection, and to brotherly affection love. For if these are in you and increase, they cause you to be neither inactive nor without
fruit in the knowledge of our Master
יהושע Messiah
For he in whom these are not present
is blind, being shortsighted, and has forgotten that he has been cleansed from his old sins.
Gal 5:5
For we, in Spirit ,by belief ,eagerly
wait for the expectation of righteousness.
For in
Messiah
יהושע
neither circumcision
nor uncircumcision has any strength,
but belief working through
love.
My brothers, what use is it for anyone to say he has belief but
does not have works? This belief is unable to save him. And if a brother or sister is naked and in need of daily food, but
one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” but you do not give them the bodily needs, what
use is it? So also belief, if it does not have works, is in itself dead. But someone might say, “You have belief, and I have works.” Show me your
belief without your works, and I shall show you my belief by my works. You believe that Elohim is one. You do well. The demons
also believe – and shudder! But do you wish to know, O foolish man, that
the belief without the works is dead? Was not Aḇraham our father declared right by works when
he offered Yitsḥaq his son
on the altar? Do you see that the belief was working with his works, and by the
works the belief was perfected? And the Scripture was filled which says, “Aḇraham believed Elohim,
and it was reckoned to him for righteousness.” And he was called, “Elohim’s friend.” You see, then,
that a man is declared right by works, and not by belief alone. In the same way,
was not Raḥaḇ the whore also declared
right by works when she received the messengers and sent them out another way? For
as the body without the spirit is dead, so also the belief is dead without the works.
2Ch 20:7 “
Are You not our Elohim? You have driven
out the inhabitants of this land before Your people Yisra’ĕl, and gave it to the seed of Aḇraham Your friend forever.
Hypocrisy
is saying or believing one thing and doing something else
Mat 23:1
Then יהושע spoke to the crowds and to His taught ones, saying, “The scribes and the Pharisees sit on the seat of Mosheh.
“Therefore, whatever they say to you to guard, guard and do. But do not do according to their works, for they
say, and do not do. “For they bind heavy burdens, hard to bear, and lay them on men’s shoulders, but with their
finger they do not wish to move them. “And they do all their works to be seen by men, and
they make their t’fillen wide and lengthen the tzitziyot of their garments and they love the best place at feasts, and
the best seats in the congregations, and the greetings in the market-places, and to be called by men, ‘Rabbi, Rabbi.’
“But you, do not be called ‘Rabbi,’ for One is your Teacher, the Messiah, and you are all brothers. “And do not call anyone on earth your father, for One is your Father,
He who is in the heavens. “Neither be called leaders, for One is your Leader,
the Messiah. “But the greatest among you shall be your servant. “And whoever exalts himself shall be humbled, and whoever humbles himself shall be exalted. “But
woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you shut up the reign of the heavens before men, for you do not go
in, nor do you allow those who are entering to go in. “Woe to you, scribes
and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you eat up widows’ houses, and for a show make long prayers. Because of this you
shall receive greater judgment. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!
Because you go about the land and the sea to win one convert, and when he is won, you make him a son of Gehenna twofold more
than yourselves. Woe to you, blind guides, who say, ‘Whoever swears by
the Dwelling Place, it does not matter, but whoever swears by the gold of the Dwelling Place, is bound by oath.’ “Fools and blind! For which is greater, the gold or the Dwelling Place that sets the gold
apart? “And, ‘Whoever swears by the altar, it does not matter, but
whoever swears by the gift that is on it, is bound by oath.’ “Fools
and blind! For which is greater, the gift or the altar that sets the gift apart? “He, then, who swears by the altar,
swears by it and by all that is upon it. “And he who swears by the Dwelling Place, swears by it and by
Him who is dwelling in it “And he who swears by the heaven, swears by the throne of Elohim and by Him who is sitting
upon it “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you tithe the mint and the anise and the cumin, and
have neglected the weightier matters of the Torah: the right-ruling and the compassion and the belief. These need to
have been done, without neglecting the others. “Blind guides – straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel “Woe
to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you clean the outside of the cup and dish, but inside they are filled with
plunder and unrighteousness. “Blind Pharisee, first clean the inside of
the cup and dish, so that the outside of them becomes clean too. “Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because
you are like whitewashed tombs which outwardly indeed look well, but inside are filled with dead men’s bones and all
uncleanness. “So you too outwardly indeed appear righteous to men, but inside you are filled with hypocrisy and lawlessness.
“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! Because you build the tombs of the prophets and decorate the monuments
of the righteous, and say, ‘If we had lived in the days of our fathers,
we would not have taken part with them in the blood of the prophets.’ “Thus
you bear witness against yourselves that you are sons of those who did murder the prophets – and you fill up the measure
of your fathers! “Serpents, brood of adders! How would you escape the judgment of Gehenna? “Because of this, see,
I send you prophets, and wise men, and scholars of Scripture. Some of them you shall kill and impale, and some of them
you shall flog in your congregations and persecute from city to city, Mat 23:35 so that on you should come all the righteous
blood shed on the earth, from the blood of righteous Heḇel to
the blood of Zeḵaryah, son of Bereḵyah, whom you murdered between the Dwelling Place and the altar.
“Truly, I say to you, all this shall come upon this generation. “Yerushalayim,
Yerushalayim, killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to her! How often I wished to gather your children together,
the way a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, but you would not! “See!
Your house is left to you laid waste, for I say to you, from now on you shall by no means see Me, until you say, ‘Blessed
is He who is coming in the Name of יהוה!’
1Pe 2:1
Having put aside, then, all evil, and all deceit, and hypocrisies, and envyings, and all evil words, as newborn babes,
desire the unadulterated milk of the Word, in order that you grow by it,if indeed you have tasted that the Master is good.
Drawing near to Him, a living Stone – rejected indeed by men, but chosen by Elohim and precious – you also, as
living stones, are being built up, a spiritual house, a set-apart priesthood, to offer up spiritual slaughter
offerings acceptable to Elohim through יהושע MessiahBecause it is contained in the Scripture, “See, I lay in Tsiyon a chief corner-stone,
chosen, precious, and he who believes on Him shall by no means be put to shame.”This preciousness, then, is for you
who believe; but to those who are disobedient, “The stone which the builders rejected has become the chief corner-stone,
and “A stone of stumbling and a rock that makes for falling,”1 who stumble because they are disobedient2
to the Word, to which they also were appointed. But you are a chosen race, a
royal priesthood, a set-apart nation, a people for a possession, that you should proclaim the praises of Him who called you
out of darkness into His marvellous light, who once were not a people, but now
the people of Elohim; who had not obtained compassion, but now obtained compassion. Beloved ones, I appeal to you as sojourners
and pilgrims, to abstain from fleshly lusts which battle against the life, having
your behaviour among the gentiles good so that when they speak against you as evil-doers, let them, by observing your good
works,1 esteem Elohim in a day of visitation. Be subject to every institution of man because of the Master, whether
to the sovereign as supreme, or to governors, as to those who are sent by him
for the punishment of doers of evil, and a praise for those who do good. Because such is the desire of Elohim, that by doing
good you should put to silence the ignorance of foolish men as free, yet not using your freedom as a cloak for evil, but as
servants of Elohim. Respect all, love the brotherhood, fear Elohim, respect the
sovereign. Servants, be subject to your masters with all fear, not only to the
good and gentle, but also to the crooked ones. For this is favour, if because
of conscience toward Elohim anyone bears up under grief, suffering unrighteously. good and you endure, this finds favour
with Elohim. For to this you were called, because Messiah also suffered for us,
leaving us an example, that you should follow His steps, “who committed no sin, nor was deceit found in His mouth,”who,
being reviled, did not revile in return; suffering, did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously; who Himself bore our sins in His body on the timber, so that we, having died to sins,
might live unto righteousness1 – by whose stripes you were healed. For you were like sheep going astray,
but have now returned to the Shepherd and Overseer of your lives
I call upon you therefore, I the prisoner of the Master, to walk worthily of the calling with which you were called,
with all humility and meekness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, being
eager to guard the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace – one body
and one Spirit, as you also were called in one expectation of your calling, one Master, one belief, one immersion, one Elohim
and Father of all,1 who is above all, and through all, and in you all.For I say, through the favour which has been given to me,
to everyone who is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he should think, but to think soberly, as Elohim
has given to each a measure of belief. For as we have many members in one body,
but all members do not have the same function, so we, the many, are one body
in Messiah, and members each one of one another. Now having different gifts,
according to the favour which was given to us, let us use them accordingly: if prophecy, according to the proportion
of belief; if serving, in the serving; or he who is teaching, in the teaching; or he who encourages, in the encouragement; or he who is sharing, in sincerity; he
who is leading, in diligence; he who shows compassion, joyously. And to each one is given the manifestation of the Spirit
for profiting, for to one is given a word of wisdom through the Spirit, and to
another a word of knowledge according to the same Spirit, and to another belief
by the same Spirit, and to another gifts of healing by the same Spirit, and to
another operations of powers, and to another prophecy, and to another discerning of spirits, and to another kinds of tongues,
and to another interpretation of tongues. But one and the same Spirit works all these, distributing to each one individually
as He intends. For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members
of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is the Messiah.
