“Therefore cleanse out
the old leaven, so that you are a new lump, as you are unleavened. For also Messiah our Passover was offered for us. So then
let us observe the festival, not with old leaven, nor with the leaven of evil and wickedness, but with the unleavened bread
of sincerity and truth. For I received from the Master that which I also delivered to you: that the Master יהושע in the night in which He was delivered up took bread, and having given thanks, He broke it and said, “Take, eat, this is My body which is broken for you;
do this in remembrance of Me.” In the same way also the cup, after supper,
saying, “This cup is the renewed covenant in My blood. As often as you drink it, do this in remembrance of Me.” For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the death of the
Master until He comes. So that whoever should eat this bread or drink this cup of the Master unworthily shall be guilty of
the body and blood of the Master. But let a man examine himself, and so let him
eat of that bread and drink of that cup. For the one who is eating and drinking
unworthily, eats and drinks judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Master.
Because of this many are weak and sick among you, and many sleep. For if we were to examine ourselves, we would not
be judged. But when we are judged, we are disciplined by the Master, that we
should not be condemned with the world. So then, my brothers, when you come together
to eat, wait for one another. And if anyone is hungry, let him eat at home, lest
you come together for judgment. And the rest I shall set in order when I come. And taking the cup, and giving
thanks, He gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. For this is My blood, that of the renewed covenant,
which is shed for many for the forgiveness of sins. “But I say to you,
I shall certainly not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on till that day when I drink it anew with you in the reign
of My Father.” Thus said יהוה, “As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one shall say, ‘Do not destroy it, for there is
blessing in it,’ so I do for My servants’ sake, not to destroy them all.“And I shall bring forth a seed
from Yaʽaqoḇ,
and from Yehuḏah an heir of My mountains. And My chosen ones shall inherit
it, and My servants dwell there. “Curds from the cattle, And milk of the flock, With fat of lambs, And rams of
the breed of Bashan,
And goats, with the choicest wheat; And you drank wine, the blood of the grapes. “Eat no leavened bread with it. For
seven days you eat unleavened bread with it, bread of affliction, because you came out of the land
of Mitsrayim in haste – so that you remember
the day in which you came out of the land of Mitsrayim,
all the days of your life. “And no leaven should be seen with you in all your border for seven days, neither should
any of the meat which you slaughter in the evening on the first day stay all night until morning. And when evening had
come, because it was the Preparation Day, that is, the day before the Sabbath, And it was Preparation day, and the Sabbath
was approaching.
Therefore, since it was the Preparation Day, that the bodies should not remain on the stake on the Sabbath –
for that Sabbath was a high one – the Yehuḏim asked Pilate to have their legs broken, and that they be
taken away. In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, in the evening, you shall eat
unleavened bread until the twenty-first day of the month in the evening. “Do not offer the blood of My slaughtering
with leaven, and do not let the slaughtering of the Festival of the Passover remain until morning. And before the Festival
of the Passover, יהושע
knowing that His hour had come that He should move out of this world unto the Father, having loved His own who were in the
world, He loved them to the And supper taking place, the devil having already put it into the heart of Yehuḏah from Qerioth, son of Shimʽon, to
deliver Him up, יהושע, knowing that the Father had given all into His hands, and that He had
come from Elohim and was going to Elohim, rose from supper and laid aside His garments, and having taken a towel, He girded
Himself. After that He put water into a basin and began to wash the feet of the
taught ones, and to wipe them with the towel with which He was girded. And so
He came to Shimʽon Kĕpha, and he said to Him, “Master, do You wash
my feet?” יהושע answered and said to him, “You do not know what I am doing now,
but you shall know after this.” Kĕpha said to Him, “By no means
shall You wash my feet, ever!” יהושע answered him, “If I do not wash you, you have no part with Me.” Shimʽon Kĕpha said to Him, “Master, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head!” יהושע said to him, “He who has had a bath does not need to wash, except his feet,
but is clean altogether. And you are clean, but not all of you.” For He
knew who would deliver Him up, so He said, “You are not all clean.” So
when He had washed their feet and taken His garments, and sat down again, He said to them, “Do you know what I have
done to you? “You call me Teacher and Master, and you say well, for I am. “Then if I, Master and Teacher, have washed your feet, you also ought to wash
one another’s feet. “For I gave you an example, that you should do
as I have done to you “Truly, truly, I say to you, a servant is not greater than his master, nor is an emissary greater
than he who sent him. “If you know these teachings, blessed are you if you do them. “I do not speak concerning
all of you. I know whom I have chosen, but that the Scripture might be filled, ‘He who eats bread with Me has lifted
up his heel against Me.’ “Now I say to you, before it takes place, that when it does
take place, you shall believe that I am. “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who receives whomever I send, receives Me.
And he who receives Me, receives Him who sent Me.” When יהושע
had said this He was troubled in spirit, and witnessed and said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, one of you shall deliver
Me up.” The taught ones looked at one another, doubting of whom He spoke. And one of His taught ones, whom יהושע loved, was reclining on the bosom of יהושע. Shimʽon Kĕpha then motioned to him to ask who it was of whom He spoke.
And leaning back on the breast of יהושע he said to Him, “Master, who is it?”
יהושע answered, “It is he to whom I shall give a piece of bread when I have dipped it.” And having dipped
the bread, He gave it to Yehuḏah from Qerioth, son of Shimʽon. And after the piece of bread, Satan entered
into him. יהושע, therefore, said to him, “What you do, do quickly.” But
no one at the table knew why He said this to him, for some were supposing, because
Yehuḏah had the bag, that יהושע was saying to him, “Buy what we need for the festival,”
or that he should give somewhat to the poor. So, having received the piece of
bread, he then went out straightaway, and it was night. When, therefore, he went
out, יהושע said, “Now the Son of Aḏam has been esteemed,
and Elohim has been esteemed in Him. “If Elohim has been esteemed in Him, Elohim shall also esteem Him in Himself, and
straightaway esteem Him. “Little children, yet a little while I am with you. You shall seek Me, and as I said to the
Yehuḏim, ‘Where I am going, you are unable to come,’ I
now also say to you. “A renewed command I give to you, that you love one
another, as I have loved you, that you also love one another. “By this shall all know that you are My taught ones, if
you have love for one another.” Shimʽon Kĕpha
said to Him, “Master, where are You going?” יהושע answered him, “Where I am going you are unable to follow Me now,
but afterwards you shall follow Me.” Kĕpha said to Him, “Master,
why am I unable to follow You now? I shall lay down my life for You.” יהושע
answered him, “Shall you lay down your life for Me? Truly, truly, I say to you, the cock shall not crow at all until
you have denied Me three times. The heavens are the heavens of יהוה; But He has given the earth to the children of men.The dead do not praise Yah,
Nor any going down to silence. See, the righteous in the earth shall be rewarded, How much more the wrong and the
sinner! “Blessed are the meek, because they shall inherit the earth and made us sovereigns and priests to our Elohim,
and we shall reign upon the earth.‘Then the set-apart ones of the Most High shall receive the reign, and possess the
reign forever, even forever and ever. ‘and the rulership, and the greatness of the reigns under all the heavens, shall
be given to the people, the set-apart ones of the Most High. His reign is an everlasting reign, and all rulerships shall serve
and obey Him.’ “This is the end of the matter. And a Rod shall come forth from the stump of Yishai, and a Sprout
from his roots shall bear fruit. The Spirit of יהוה shall rest upon Him – the Spirit of wisdom and understanding, the Spirit of counsel and might, the Spirit
of knowledge and of the fear of יהוה, and shall make Him breathe in the fear of יהוה. And He shall
not judge by the sight of His eyes, nor decide by the hearing of His ears. But
with righteousness He shall judge the poor, and shall decide with straightness for the meek ones of the earth, and shall smite
the earth with the rod of His mouth, and slay the wrong with the breath of His lips.
And righteousness shall be the girdle of His loins, and trustworthiness the girdle of His waist. And a wolf shall dwell with the lamb, and a leopard lie down with the young goat, and the calf and the
young lion and the fatling together, and a little child leads them. And cow and
bear shall feed, their young ones lie down together, and a lion eat straw like an ox.
And the nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole, and the weaned child shall put his hand in the adder’s
den. They do no evil nor destroy in all My set-apart mountain, for the earth shall be filled with the knowledge of יהוה as the waters
cover the sea And in that day there shall be a Root of Yishai, standing as a banner to the people. Unto Him the gentiles shall
seek, and His rest shall be esteem. let Your reign come, let Your desire be done on earth as it is in heaven. And all these
My hand have made, and all these that exist,” declares יהוה. “Yet to such a one I look: on him who is poor and bruised of spirit, and
who trembles at My Word. And I saw a renewed heaven and a renewed earth, for the former heaven and the former
earth had passed away, and the sea is no more. And I, Yoḥanan,
saw the set-apart city, renewed Yerushalayim, coming down out of the heaven from Elohim, prepared as a bride adorned for her
husband. And I heard a loud voice from the heaven saying, “See, the Booth
of Elohim is with men, and He shall dwell with them, and they shall be His people, and Elohim Himself shall be with them and
be their Elohim.“And Elohim shall wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there shall be no more death, nor mourning,
nor crying. And there shall be no more pain, for the former matters have passed away.” And He who was sitting on the throne said, “See, I make all matters new.” And He said
to me, “Write, for these words are true and trustworthy.” And He said to me, “It is done! I am the ‘Aleph’
and the ‘Taw’, the Beginning and the End. To the one who thirsts I shall give of the fountain of the water of
life without payment. “The one who overcomes shall inherit all this, and I shall be his Elohim and he shall be My son.
“But as for the cowardly, and untrustworthy, and abominable, and murderers, and those who whore, and drug sorcerers,
and idolaters, and all the false, their part is in the lake which burns with fire and sulphur, which is the second death.” And one of the seven messengers who held the seven bowls filled with the seven last
plagues came to me and spoke with me, saying, “Come, I shall show you the bride, the Lamb’s wife.” And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great and high mountain, and showed me the
great city, the set-apart Yerushalayim, descending out of the heaven from Elohim, having the esteem of Elohim, and her light
was like a most precious stone, like a jasper stone, clear as crystal, and having
a great and high wall, having twelve gates, and at the gates twelve messengers, and names written on them, which are those
of the twelve tribes of the children of Yisra’ĕl:“And it shall be that you divide it by lot as an inheritance
for yourselves, and for the strangers who sojourn in your midst and who bear children among you. And they shall be to you
as native-born among the children of Yisra’ĕl – with you they have an inheritance in the midst of the tribes
of Yisra’ĕl “And it shall be that in whatever tribe the stranger sojourns, there you give him his inheritance,”
declares the Master יהוה.
. the three gates northward: one gate for Re’uḇĕn, one gate for Yehuḏah,
one gate for Lĕwi. “And on the east side, four thousand five hundred
cubits, three gates: one gate for Yosĕph, one gate for Binyamin, one gate for Dan.
“And on the south side, measuring four thousand five hundred cubits, three gates: one gate for Shimʽon,
one gate for Yissasḵar, one gate for Zeḇulun. “And
on the west side, four thousand five hundred cubits with their three gates: one gate for Gaḏ, one
gate for Ashĕr, one gate for Naphtali.
three gates on the east, three gates on the north, three gates on the south, and three gates on the west. And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the names of the
twelve emissaries of the Lamb. And he who spoke with me had a golden measuring
rod, to measure the city, and its gates, and its wall. And the city lies four-cornered,
and its length is as great as its breadth. And he measured the city with the rod: two thousand two hundred kilometres –
the length, and the breadth, and height of it are equal. And he measured its
wall: sixty-five metres, according to the measure of a man, that is, of a messenger. And the structure of its wall was jasper.
And the city was clean gold, like clear glass. And the foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with all kinds of
precious stones: the first foundation jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald, the fifth sardonyx, the sixth ruby, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth
chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, and the twelfth amethyst. And the twelve gates
were twelve pearls – each one of the gates was a single pearl. And the street of the city was clean gold, like transparent
glass. And I saw no Dwelling Place in it,
for יהוה Ěl Shaddai
is its Dwelling Place, and the Lamb And the city had no need of the sun, nor of the moon, to shine in it, for the esteem of Elohim lightened
it, and the Lamb is its lamp. And the gentiles, of those who are saved, shall
walk in its light, and the sovereigns of the earth bring their esteem into it. And its gates shall not be shut at all by day,
for night shall not be there. And they shall bring the esteem and the appreciation
of the gentiles into it. And there shall by no means enter into it whatever is unclean, neither anyone doing abomination and
falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb’s Book of Life. |
